Kronos - many many thanks for getting this thing going!
The stainless and copper sets are going to be epic!!! With the utmost respect to the custom light makers...these sets are going to be steal. A single custom non-aluminum host will cost more than one of these sets...and these are two complete working lights. Come to think of it...any custom host can run more than a complete SS/Cu set.
Anyway you slice it these will make great gifts but my fist SS/Cu set is for me! I will probably add more before the list closes. Thank you again!!!
You guys are killin’ me! And so will the other half when she finds out… But put me down for one of each (ss/cu and alu) in NW. Possibly more if payment doesn’t come due at the same time as the other GB’s!
Well months may be a problem if I’m accepted into the Paramedic program I just applied for. Better start rat holing change now! Will they accept rolls of quarters, dimes and nickels by chance?!
ToyKeeper said: “But I’d still love a non-AR lens for XP-L, to make the neutral white tint look white instead of green.
… any chance we can get plain glass lenses instead of AR-coated?”
.
I’m all for this too. - Too many times I have bought the Big Brand lights with the AR coating, only to see Green in the tint.
So, I thought going the ‘budget’ route might be better for me, as few of them have coated lenses.
For instance, I have an Olight S15 that I LOVE; everything about it, Except for the Sickly Green tint - Puke:-(
But - It’s also my understanding that this is quite Normal for this light, and that the people that have them don’t care, or don’t even notice the tint…? - BTW, it is the very latest model with the new switch design, like the “R” models have. - That’s the only reason that I bought it, because I thought that they had also ‘fixed’ the tint while they were at it. - Not!
I want my lights to mimic nature, and Green light is just not what I see in the course of a day. - As always, YMMV.
