Why you should never buy to Gearbest

Couldn’t agree more. Dealing with any Chinese dealer/distributor is going to be a crap shoot. I’ve dealt with most of them and one order goes great and maybe received in two weeks another takes five weeks and or they send you the wrong product or it’s defective.

It’s a crap shoot I tell ya’! CAVEAT EMPTOR!

I’ve dealt with GB, about 40-50 transactions over a period,
and it was only one package that did not come ….
Lost in the mail? (package without tracking number)
I chose not to open PP dispute within 45 days ,
rather to see how the GB would treat me as a customer, :wink:
and then make a choice whether I would trade with them again…. trust them…
After having made them aware of my loss, GestBest Customer Service, Gina
stepped up, and I have now received refund 23.99USD.without no hassel.
So for me GB is serious and I will continue to shop with them. :slight_smile:

I recently bought an Olight M21X Warrior (on sale for $35,99) which shipped in 2 days and arrived 13 days later.
And it’s the complete package in the plastic presentation case, all accessories present, and it has the XM L2 led.
So….all is fine.

A month and a half ago I ordered the Uniquefire 1504 shorty (to be modded by Djozz :slight_smile: and that arrived in about two weeks as well.

No complaints here.

GEARBEST agreed to resend a REAL S2+ if I would send 2usd to cover tracking. I sent the 2 bucks and now they want me to CLOSE my PayPal case before they provide a tracking number or ship the replacement!

Never ever close Paypal dispute until you either have your full refund or item delivered in perfect condition!

I wish you guys refrained from buying Olight S80 when it was 20 & something $ so I would have chance to buy it also, instead some of you bought even 5 pcs and entire stock was sold out before I got back from work…

I purchased a Courui D01 and requested shipping to FmC in Australia for modification, but the shipment has been delayed. Now, I’m getting the “send a copy of your ID Card[s] (two, not one!) to prove your identity” email. I won’t do that. I hope the order is sent soon without any need for ‘identification’.

Update: Purchase ‘resolved’ as of 10/31 - I received a refund, but I lost the points I used to lower the price AND the price has risen considerably. Rather than repurchase at the new higher price, I did a price match with Kaidomain (and they bested the GB price). Not the best solution, but I won’t complain.

Tool is in excellent shape, and I am very happy.

i ordered 8.august and till now still nothing arrived and gearbest didnt reply my ticket since 6 days !!!

Had only one problem (total 15 orders) with gearbest and they solved it quickly.

The main reason why I only use PayPal when ordering from GearBest.

I recommend everyone use only PayPal from any overseas seller.

i order since over 10 years stuff from china never had a problem with any seller but what i am thru with gearbest is a real nightmare the only order they got right was a para cord which i paid for registered post.

1 out of 6 is right all others had trouble plus very bad customer service slow and unprofessional

Speaking about good customer service... I have excellent treatment from Fasttech. Maybe it is because I have spent quite a bit in their store lately. My tickets were answered within 8hrs shift! Refund for damage goods was a breeze and replacement orders all came with free tracking codes!

I am a very happy buyer at FT, but my heart is with GB because of the unbeatable price.
