Wrist watches. Post pics, if you EDC one!

I wrote above post almost three years ago, my first post on BLF was about a watch :-)

That watch I've been wearing for three years now every day. The battery is still good (Ronda movement), the Saphire lens is scratch-free, and the black PVD coating of the chest is still very neat (I still wish that SS flashlights come PVD coated). The GWS brand never really took off, but I still love this watch!

Thanks! BTW, it came today. The one I got was made in Japan, AWESOME!! I had to remove 2 links from the band which was harder than any of my other watches with stainless steel bands. It's a pin and collar setup which is a bit of a pain in the ass. I had to use an magnifying glass to get the job done, but it came out perfect.

UPDATE: It's exactly 24 hours since I set the time to http://time.gov/HTML5/ Atomic Clock. Happy to say it only lost 3 seconds which is excellent for an automatic watch. Compare that with plus and minus 15 to 30 seconds I get with my other Seiko's.

Balls of steel are required when resizing the monster. As well as a light colored towel or sheet for when you inevitably drop one of the microscopic collars……

This is what I’ve been wearing lately, a really nice Citizen EcoDrive which I got for a song…

Nice watch :) I forgot to mention that I used my Zeberalight H600W flood headlamp and a yellow microfiber cloth to do the job. The pin is no problem. It's the ultra tiny collars that can easily get lost. Luckily I had no problem. Having to right tools helped as well..

This is mine. A graduation gift ten years ago from my wife .

Sesgum,

That’s a very elegant and understated watch.

I received this for Christmas, and it was DOA. :frowning: Casio took care of it, and I got it back form them two days ago, and just love it! My sons bought it for me. I’ll try to get my own pic of it in the future when I break out the camera.

Vostok Amphibia “Scuba Dude”

I haven't worn a watch with any regularity since getting a smart phone, I even ended up selling my most expensive watch about 5 years ago (a genuine Rolex Submariner). I've still got about 10 other watches, this thread has spurred to to dig them out and consider wearing one again...

Today grey traser supersport with black/grey nato.

I’ve worn the G-Shock Mudman the last couple of years.

But I just ordered the black dialed Orient Mako USA.

The Orient brand was mentioned in another thread on BLF

……and after hours of YouTube research, pulled the trigger.

Tritium watches have great lume but anyone else notice the radioactive hazard symbol printed on the face of the watches that have tritium??

Most of the watches do i think. I’ve also been eyeing the Marathon watch as well. https://www.marathonwatch.com/product/jdd JDD
(not my photo btw, just one from google images.)

You’d have to eat all of the tritium vials in the watch for it to be even slightly dangerous, and even then, it probably wouldn’t.

Just be careful of the Russian watches with a polonium dial.

My watch is a Timex T49947.

I removed the leather and nylon watchband and replaced it with a black stainless steel mesh band.
