BLF Kronos X6/X5 GB - Group Buy now closed.

Anything 80 CRI for the warm/neutral tint ?

(Hank is able to source it, so perhaps Manker too?)

Please add my name to the group buy for the BLF X6-SE v2.

1) Aluminum (Al)
2) Tint – NW
3) Quantity – 1 set

Thanks!

I prefer working flashlights, but if that is not possible, PM me, and I will engage you in a lengthy discussion about serial number. Gotta have one or the other.

Not sure what others think, but I find the name of this thread to be cluttered and hard to spot in the BLF Recent Posts list. FWIW, I suggest reversing the order, and adding an en-dash:

BLF X6-SE v2 GB Interest List – GB Comment Edited ##8/3/15##

1 set SS/Cu NW please!

I agree - One day it was changed, and if I had not been subscribed, probably would have missed it.

Thanks!
-Chuck

Same here - couldn’t see it w/o subscription.

Good suggestion. Done.

Please remove me from the SS/Cu list #6, but keep me at #57 on the Al list. Thank you.

I'll gladly fill in seasams's vacant slot (no rudeness intended )!

Please add me for another Cu/SS pair at position 6 to replace seasam.

Many thanks as always,

Hirsh

I’ll take one of both SS/Cu and HAIII in NW at same spot on both.

A simulated preview, here’s a look at pretty much what we’re looking at in this group buy.

The Cu light is real, some liberties were taken by me to show the comparison of the two lights. I tried real hard to keep it “real”.

The photo that was provided of the sample was fresh off the lathe and needed cleaning up, but man these look good to me!

I can already see a triple nichia going in the cu mini.

Damn Dale!

Not too bad…Not bad at all!

I should start a thread about Fake Stainless X6’s now:-)

Nice Work!

After I get to see the real SS, I ‘might’ have to join that list too:-(

Thanks A Lot!

Correct, the “simulated” SS is actually a Cu X6. They goofed and made a sample out of the wrong material is my understanding. So I recreated the copper light in 14500 size, carefully sizing it by the width of the battery tube and overall length as befits a 14500 cell, then “silvered” the original for the SS image. In actuality, the SS variant doesn’t have as deep a knurling as the metal is much harder, but is still exactly the same other than that.

Wanted to get a look out there as to what the copper light is looking like. I’m to understand also that they are looking at a TIR for the K6 to keep throw to a maximum with the FET+1 driver.

They have corrected the error of their ways and are rapidly making Al samples of the pair. This is what I’m told, more news as it comes in. Communications are getting wonky with so much going on, so some of the questions and answers have been having delays. Perhaps someone in China needs sleep….

Wow those look great! Thanks for making the pic. That nice shiny copper almost makes me wish for an all smooth finish.

Do you think the 14500 lights will also function in lesser capacity with AA?

No. Wight's driver does not go that low...2.7 or close to it (not 100% sure)

BLF or not....someone needs to tell CPF to get on this wagon. We and they all know for a fact that they cannot get hosts for this kind of dough and this style has never been made out of SS or Cu.

After all...we ALL like lights!

Love at first sight

One would think!

I posted this message at CPF about the BLF-348 group buy that BLF member _the_ is putting together. Got not a single reply. The only response you will find there is a bump from me!

Perhaps the BLF X6-SE v2, the BLF Manker A6, or the BLF LuckySun D80-SE would be more enticing.

Ok,

I just bumped your BLF-348 thread.

Thanks,
-Chuck
