BLF Kronos X6/X5 GB - Group Buy now closed.

That is the plan. You should be able to mix and match

That is the plan.

This GB is pure genius. Heck, put me down for a second SS/Cu set in NW please.

My GF keeps telling me I don’t need any more flashlights…

Never mind, time to think about christmas(for myself), +one SS/Cu set in NW
for me please!
Edit: 5A tint would be preferred. But anything 3+A/D will be fine, 80+ CRI would be awesome,
B/C sometimes gives greenish tints.

thanks for the time you all put in there.

Another question for the 14500 version: is it going to have one of the common (Omten) switches?

I ask this because I have several small diameter lights with switches that carry the current through the internal switch spring (which adds to the resistance and the spring dies from too much current)

Put me down for 1 set of the $45 deal. CW

Omg. These samples look AWESOME!

Goal for Aluminum set is 100…we are at 99!!!

Goal for Stainless Steel and Copper is 200…we are at 100…half the way there and we haven’t seen a complete sample yet!!!

I have no doubt that we will hit our goals here!

(updated in OP)

Just wait until you see the next round of pics

1 set of (Al) NW for me, but CW if we get XP-L HI

After seeing the samples I might have to sign up for a second set.

F#%k CPF…

Fork CPF? :stuck_out_tongue: Somehow I believe if we hand these over CPF guys they will just buy to collect and won’t truly appreciate all the hard work behind these lights.

Frankly, it does not matter. I could care less if they polished them and stored them in an air tight display case or even ran them over with trucks.

What I am after is numbers - and big numbers at that. You see I am very surprised that we have only hit 200 sets (400 lights). I actually thought we would see 4 to 5 times that amount, especially given the rare nature of the Stainless X6 and Copper K6-14500, even the Aluminum K6-14500, and how many people never got the X6-SE the last go around.

Bugsy -Krono,

I’m not buying into the SS/CU set specifically because of the Stainless Steel X6.

I’m in for the AL set, but how about an AL/CU set also?

That, I could go for!

No extra tooling, just extra sales!

Thanks,
-Chuck

What he said.

I’d prefer that option too. The thermal properties of SS scare me a little.

Well, if we can work out the details, there’s still a chance of making the heat sink section out of copper on the stainless steel version. This way you’d get good thermal properties in addition to the nearly-indestructible steel body.

I can’t promise anything, but doing it that way would be pretty cool. Some lights already do this, like the Sinner Ti XC; can you imagine what it would be like to have this on the X6?

My bank account does fear that option, I should instantly go offline for at least half a year to avoid disaster…
But meh whatever. Lets see how this plays out.

I’ve posted a link to TLF a few hours ago since this GB was not mentioned there yet. I’d expect for a group of people to join in the next couple of days.

That would be the best of all solutions, stunning and practical.
You guys are going to have make it happen.
