Thanks. I just picked up some Windyfire 14500s and am anxious to put them to work. 1000 lumens from a light that size is obscene.
Just curious about AA more than anything.
BLF ROCKS!

May increase list?
I want number 111

I’m in for a SS/Cu NW set. This is great! Thanks for making this happen. 8)
Copperhead: ToyKeeper:Well, if we can work out the details, there’s still a chance of making the heat sink section out of copper on the stainless steel version. This way you’d get good thermal properties in addition to the nearly-indestructible steel body.
I can’t promise anything, but doing it that way would be pretty cool. Some lights already do this, like the Sinner Ti XC; can you imagine what it would be like to have this on the X6?
That would be the best of all solutions, stunning and practical. You guys are going to have make it happen.
Copper finned section on SS is the plan
Good Day Krono,
Do NOT do that, or I will be even more broke (if that is even possible).
Seriously though, that will be AWESOME.
Thank you Very Much,
George
Financially insolvent thanks to Krono & his team.

Seriously? That's because of the better heat dissipating properties of copper vs stainless steel, right?
I am in for the stainless steel & copper set. If you're taking emitter preferences, mine are:
- neutral white in the 5000K temp range
- XP-L high intensity emitter
That copper 14500 would do well paired up with my floody SC52w as a secondary EDC.
ooh ooh ooh!
I just saw pics of an X6v2 SS with Cu. Absolutely *** gorgeous!!
I just can't upload anything right now - dunno why. Have to wait for the others to become available after work but when you guys see them the SS/Cu list is going to go crazy!
Bugs, that’s CRUEL!
Of course, I already know what it looks like as I’ve had 5 lights custom made with that combination. (Well, Ti not SS on 2 as well as 1 in SS and 2 other variations, but you know…)
In in for Copper NW
Dale - That is not half as bad as me having to clean all of the slobber of my desk after I saw the pics
This two-tone X6v2 can easily double as a shelf queen or "a beat 'em up everyday" EDC. Polish it up and it is a shelf queen again!
Ti is nice..no question..but Ti also lacks that pretty hue from the nickel that stainless has.
This is GB is truly is going to be what the definition of epic is:
get those pictures up please!
I’ll try to post a pic when I get home from work…unless someone beats me to it 8)
18650 extensions for 2x and 3x 18650 (for the crazy people that like MTG2’s and XHP’s Smile ) should fit all X6’s
Bugsy, where is the thread on this, or the discussion?
Put me down for one SS/CU in NW.

It isn't. It is in RemanG's thread about the 18350 battery tubes for the A6.
We are trying to cover all of the bases. :) RemanG asked about shortened tubes for the A6 and when Kronos and company did the X6-SE people wanted extension tubes. Therefore, if they are going to make tubes (after we get these finished) then they are going to make tubes that can shorten or lengthen the unit as desired :)
SS X6 with Cu pill from Neal.
No photoshopping.
Ha…you beat me to it, Dale!
Posting them in the OP
Mjammie!!
Well, there goes any concern about heat.
I think we can get rid of the turbo timer on this.
Woah. NEAT! This is AMAZING for that price. Sheesh. You guys rock.

Not completely, this is b.a. of course, love it, enables it to become a hotrod, but it will still not dissipate heat nearly as well as a common aluminium flashlight where heat spreads over the complete body. (agree about the turbo timer)
