Or, because the blue light seems to be an oddly less informative indicator compared to the red, does that mean the holster just holds the flashlight while you have to take out the battery to charge in the other slot?

What’s the pin/hinge for on the top+back? That seems like an odd direction for the charging station to flip up if it were mounted on a flat surface, e.g. at the outlet.

I am sorry for my late response but because we were unable to get XM-L2 U4 LED from Chinese supplier, we have to purchase from foreigner country, and it just arrived. We need a few more days to test them before shipping.

I haven’t deciphered yet where the 5000mAh power is coming from. There’s a built-in battery that can charge an 18650, and/or the flashlight, and/or a phone connected to USB?
I am currently testing my unit. So the holster has a 5000mah battery built into the unit… and that built in battery can be used to charge the spare 18650 battery you place inside the battery slot.
The new model looks a very impressive torch. Look forward to the reviews.
