I have no need of 4 ports but I need one which can charge at 2A and has at least standard quality.
I am still using one of the cheap car chargers with retractable cable and a standard step down circuit with mc40430 which is not able to fully power my phone if I am using navigation and full brightnessā¦

The cable is important as much if not more than the charger itselfā¦.i m pretty sure you know.
Your psu can deliver 4 ampsā¦and your lo ad could require them but if you ther cable is crapā¦you wont go anywhereā¦
To be honest find a decent >1m cable that can sustain 2A or more it s the more difficult part.
On eBay you will find someone who can assemble for you with 18awg copper wire and suchā¦but I never managed to reach the 2.2+ A of the 15cm xiaomi cable

Yes,they look identical to some AUKEY cables I bought on eBay (quick charge 2.0 compliant too) ā¦except I paid like 3 times that for itā¦and ohā¦mines are 1.20 mt (3-pack) but they barely touch 1.6A while charging and the current drops fast after my phone reaches the 50% while the xiaomi remains at 1.65A till the 80%.
