1.) My favorite light right now is my Tank007 E09. Although I do own a number of (other) extremely bright flashlights, the Tank E09 is so tiny that it is my EDC, and thus always in my pocket and available for immediate use. A small lightweight light is also preferred for camping. I also own a couple Fenix E01’s, but they are only one mode, and do not accept a 10440 battery.
1. Your favorite light that you own and why it is your favorite (and a picture of it if possible)
My favorite is Olight S15.
It’s tiny, has a tailcap magnet, nice mode spacing, great UI, runs on 14500, 1xAA, 2xAA, 3xAA It became even better when I installed a TIR in it. Next step will be swapping the LED for something more neutral white.
1. Favorite light is a bit of a moving target. Currently it's LuckySun D80. Compact but nice bit of throw with a usable wider hotspot than others. Better cooling fins than others, good for high amps.
2. I tend not to drool over lights. But I have been interested in the Nitecore EC4. I like side by side 18650 designs, which should be more common imo. But I'm not found of series 18650s and it might be a hassle to get the original driver out in order to replace.
3. Nice NW tint! Well spaced modes! Deep carry clip. Most of all, more quality but budget side-button lights.

 ;)
… Sunwayman C22C! Small, two emitters, bright, tailcap lockout, tailcap magnet. What I don’t like about it is the switch - I have problems finding it by touch.
1) My favorite light I own is my EDC, Convoy S2+, XM-L2 U4 1C on a Noticgon with a LD1 driver. Compact, versatile, reliable, and powerful…I love it!
2) I have been really drooling over Dale’s triple XP-L X6 lights. I would really like to build one, unfortunately the copper and aluminum heatsinks are no longer available.
3) Thorfire seems to making some really nice lights. The only thing I wish they would do is use more powerful drivers. Once they come out with 3A+ drivers, I think they’ll be more on everyone’s radar. And of course copper DTP stars would also be an inexpensive way to dramatically improve the performance of their lights.
My favorite light still is a K40M, its in mint condition and I just love it, not to big,not to heavy, and mode spacing is great.
My Lumintop SD75 is on the way but I would like to have Acebeam K60 !!
And finally Thorefire could pick up some idea from A6 BLF,like reverse mode changing
1. My favorite light recently is a T6 with single XML - running without the extension, still 2s with 18500s - handy size, bright and floody or step it down.
2. I’m not really drooling, but I would like to try some LED nav lights on one of my RC planes.
3. Would really like to see lights which have a low or moon mode have a simpler way to choose either low or high without going through any other modes.
My fav is the BLF X6 for sure. Even with under performance, I love this light.
I would love to try Nitecore’s P36 with the MT-G2 on 2x18650.
Hey, would the A6 internals fit in the Thorfire VG-15?
As for Thorfire features and specs:
- Like the SS bezel.
- Maintain mode sequence and maybe add beacon.
Good to see more adoption of larger double lanyard holes that can accommodate paracord. A lot more reliable than the standard lanyards supplied. First noticed these larger holes on the X6, then showing up on new Convoys and now Thorfire. The pocket clip look very similar to the one on the X6…… interesting?
