I like it as it is. What will be the engraving? Will it be ReyLight? Smile

I would like a higher current switch (see post #23), but would also like to change the UI:

*I prefer low-med-high instead of the stock med-low-high (but there's as many opinions as people on this subject)

*The pwm on the stock Tool is terribly low, that should go up to at least 4kHz.

*And of course the low should be lower, as usual.

And if the led would be the Nichia 219C that would be fantastic (I prefer the 4000K 83CRI, but I'm happy with 5000K 83CRI as well)

Nice, I will be in for at least one, probably two. I prefer warm/neutral tints, Nichia is always welcome.

The rubber switch, It could be metallic?

I would be interested in one IF it looks exactly like this…

If it’s changed from this, no thank you.

Rey will add you to the list. Once we get enough for the good price and his version is ready he will provide us with the info. Wink

Maybe I should clarify that… I really like the build of the body, just the way it is

If the emitter/driver/performance were to be tweaked that would be fine with me.

Did I miss an estimated cost on these? All the group buys lately have done damage to the budget for sure, so I have to add that end cost will largely be a determining factor. Sorry, but this time that’s the way it is.

Nichia, copper, clicky. Perfect! I’d take three or four depending on price.
Also like the shape as pictured. Only ‘fix’ I would prefer is to lower the bulging rear-switch and make it a tail-stander.
Perhaps a matching metal flat switch?…

I like the tool look. Tail standing would be nice as would l-m-h levels.

I like the wasp waist in a small form, makes them easier to grip.

To have a metal button they would have to completely redesign the tail and switch itself.  It would not be feasable for such a limited run without a huge increase in price. Normally I prefer a metal switch aesthetically but in this light I actually prefer the existing design for looks and function. I think Lumintop knocked it out of the park with this design. It is everything a flashlight should look like, IMO.   Wink

Agreed, that black rubber looks great contrasting with the shiny copper. Now imagine it with an orange button.

I’d buy at least one. I agree that it looks great as is, better internals never upset me though even if the price increases a bit.

I’m interested. I prefer a smaller button but if that cannot be changed then I buy it the way it is.

It will be based on Lumintop Tool AAA.   Maybe the first Clicky AAA?

No, at least the Ultrafire A3 was years earlier, the reviews on dx go back to 2008 and you can still buy it, great little light, still have one. Here's a review from old4570 from 2011: http://budgetlightforum.com/node/1503

If the appearance stays like it is....one, possibly two here

This light is so close to what I’ve been looking for, literally for years now.

I actually found this thread through a google search tab that I’ve had open for over two years now: “aaa Nichia 219 light”. Nobody seems to make a 3 mode Nichia 219 keychain light with EFFICIENT modes at a reasonable price, but this is the closest I’ve seen.

Personally I want the light to be as small as possible, so a twisty would be better for me but I understand that some people want the clicky too.

I’m in for one as long as starting from lowest to highest, not M-L-H.
As djozz suggested it, higher current switch and higher PWM if possible. Hopefully the driver still suitable for 10440 if have some changing, thanks.
