Thanks nickelflipper. Just a quick PM update in post 5. This is one of the pictures I've just posted there. If I may say so I'm a little excited with how well the reflectors sit in the housing after some fine tuning with a file.

Thanks guys. It has to be shorting under a reflector somewhere or a MPCB is not as it seems. I'll make an adapter up and trim some more of the backside of the reflectors.
If you can acces the B+ spring with the head assembled but not on the battery tube you might be able to find out which reflector is the problem with a meter. Maybe shave a bit off the solder bumps and insulate with AA.

This is quickly becoming a favorite picture of mine showing the initial life in a flashlight.
I have no idea how you did that, applaud you for the idea and obvious hard work it took to merge those 4 reflectors. The entire light is compact, powerful and creative. Shame Matt build such an awesome sceptor, you had a chance before he did that one. 
Y’all are insane with what you can come up with, maybe some day I’ll put 2 and 2 together and come up with something half as impressive. Nice work!

Wow, it has become a beauty! And I really like the beam profile, I'm glad you sticked to Torch leds :-) How many did you end up spending on this build?
