The BLF worldwide geocache! Let's get the box round the world! BOX EN ROUTE

Wow, sorry! I thought I responded. I did write a response but it seems I somehow didn’t send it. Probably hit “preview”, thought it was sent and closed the tab. :~
Sorry for delaying the box guys.

Actually not sure how I got on the list.
I’m just watching the adventures from afar atm.

Not a problem! It happens. I’ll see if I can get Breinrules shipping address.

Thanks for Logging the Geocache Travel Tag too. (i seen it logged on my Geocaching page)

If in case shipping here is very expensive , just pass me up and proceed to next person. Our customs here is ranked 1 in most corrupt.lol

Sounds good. And Canada post is outrageously expensive so I’ll go today or tomorrow to price out shipping. Thanks everyone and sorry for the delays!

So I got a quote for shipping to the Philippines to Brein. It will cost $11 CAD to ship air packet which does not have any tracking and will take 2-3 business weeks.

It will cost $50 to ship with tracking :~

More than I had hoped with tracking and tracking would be a must if It is indeed a corrupt customs. What are people’s thoughts? I know that I signed up for this as it is a fun idea and especially cool to get it going around the world! I just didn’t anticipate it costing $50. I’d appreciate others thoughts on it before any decisions.

i know our shipping from Canada sucks. it cost me over 20 bucks to ship it to the US.

If that is the case. Il just pass up. I don't want this geocache to be ruined by my government. Go on

And forgot to say, there is no tracking in our country. The moment it arrives at our customs, everything is out of the radar. This is the bad thing about our country, an item arrives in less than a week from any country, but takes months to actually receive the item here.

Dhl, ups and all private couriers here will charge me 200$ for a 20$ item lol.

Ouch!

Wow! That is brutal. Very unfortunate. Perhaps I will ship it to the next on the list then. Sorry for any inconvenience but it seems the best option to do so.

Don’t forget to rifle the box and swap some parts.

I’m next on the list and I am looking forward to showing this around Monroe, Georgia.

Great thread!

Where is it now?

Nitroz should have it asap according to what Canada Post told me but I haven’t checked the tracking number.

I have it!

Just got back from my 20th Anniversary vacation. Here is the first of many photos from Monroe, Georgia.

Rainy day in Georgia! Here is a morning walk with my girl, Sophie and a walk to the creek.

Later I will take the box to Athens and take a photo of it with the UGA ceramic dog.

Next, I will choose an item or two, add some goods and send it on its way. Oh, and do the geotag.

I couldn’t find the UGA dog. I think they moved it so I took a photo of Clyde’s Armory.

The photos are not working for some reason…

Fixed!
