I jumped on the EA81 deal two days ago. I figure it’ll probably be the last big AA light that I buy (I have a TK45 so I have plenty of NiMH AAs laying around). Finally got around to reading the shipping confirmation email this morning, clicked on the tracking number and USPS reports that it’s on a truck for delivery later today. Can’t beat that.

do you know if the driver issue from the preliminary review of the ec4s has been addressed and fixed? (as well as the parasitic drain)
I’m sure it has as no company would want to put out a faulty or incomplete product. Which would explain why they continually delayed the release for this long. We received no warnings or any other information that we needed to keep an eye out for regarding this product. Hope this helped!
