We can actually call these newest made in Japan cells 5th gen. Because their specs have kind of changed. Staying charged for 10 years (overseas) and 90% after 1 year (Japan).. but code is still the same though.
And the PRO version have changed specs, more minimum mAh, and different code.
Have tried to find a place that sells the new Eneloop Organic L.E, but I can’t find one place that send to Norway, and it’s not out on Ebay yet.
Somebody here on LEB from Denmark? There they have it to around $20/8pcs AA and they have the same edition in AAA also. It’s not costly to send from Denmark to Norway.
Or if anybody has a seller in Europe that sends to Norway. Nkon.nl has not the new version in their store.
Amazon Germany has them, but they don’t ship to Norway.
And you realy realy REALY have to have this new eneloops immediately right now? Can you just wait a month or two while they become more available! from reputable sources! Trying to be the first to have them you will buy some counterfeit crap and then start another revolution here.
Eneloops were never fast to reach other markets outside of Japan…
I just bought a set of 4th gen eneloops, from a local retailer. The code printed is BK-3MCCE. I am not sure whether they are legit. The date stamp is barely visible, printed near the positive terminal, although the value is 1411 the same as the one printed on the packaging. Not like my other eneloops, the date stamp are easily visible, printed at the center, and it has format like 11-07XX. The other thing is there is ridge near the positive terminal. So, are they fake eneloops?
Are there vents around the base of the positive terminal? None of my eneloops have a ridged top or vents. My Chinese made Panasonic infiniums do have a ridged top and vented positive terminal. But I don’t have Eneloops with your code, I have three different codes not the latest.
Okay, your packet says made in China, so those are probably genuine, but not Japanese. The latter are the best, and made by FDK in Japan. The Chinese ones are inferior, and probably Panasonic Evolta under the skin. Evolta replaced Infinium, but might have been little more than a name change. They are a good battery, but do not last as many charge cycles as Japan made Eneloop.
Yup, I am aware that mine are the inferior chinese build. They are the best I can get from my local retailer. I dont mind using them, I just dont trust fake product. If they are fake, I will ask for a refund.
Ordered the new editions:
BK-4MCC/8TN
BK-3MCC/8TN
directly from Japan now. (I just wanted the newest). But they was not free…$6.5/battery when I order two 8 packages of AA and one packages of AAA.
Anybody that know the real price per package in Japan?
Prices in Japan go up and down almost daily. These are new, so probably around 20-25 usd, shipping would be another $4 per pack. PayPal eats $1,50 and they take a $1 exchange fee again when you withdraw the money in Japanese yen.
You can do the math. But 6,5usd per battery you paid is quite a lot.
It was from the first and then only seller in Japan I got them, now there is several sellers from Japan, and the price is down to around $3.75/battery. Still direct from Japan.
Can you read the circular picture on the package (from my picture in my last thread) and confirm/not confirm that this is the 10 years batteries as well? I can see the number 10 there, but don’t understand the rest.
