I’m interested what’s inside them.

@M4D M4X
You can dropship one or more to me if you want 0:)

My charger queue is fairly low, I have ordered all of them.

I will not promise to open them!

First and foremost: Many thanks for all your awesome reviews!
Second: How about a test of the Panasonic BQ-CC18? Or is that one older than the -CC17 and -CC16?
(Available at Amazon for under € 10.- Did not know which of the European ones you prefer so I did not get a link.)

Cheers!

I do not see it as very interesting, the specifications says it is timer controlled.

But now I have ordered one, it will be a couple of months before I publish a review.

How about this one?

These are currently cheap at US Radio Shack stores.

It’s a 2-cell li-ion charger *bunded with 2 cells) (slider to take batteries up to 26650, green light for “no battery or charged” and red light for “anything else”)

http://shop.digitalenergyworld.com/18650-Batteries-2-PACK-Button-Top-37V-2000mAh-LI-ION-w-Dock-812376017694.htm

One surprise — it was able to reset protection on a (same DEWorld brand) 26650 cell — which I”d already tried in a Liitokala 260 (just reported “Null’) and in an Xtar WP2H (got blinking red) and an Xtar VC4 (gauge stayed on zero for close to an hour).

The DEWorld gave a red “charging” indicator and after about half an hour I moved the cell back to the VC4, which now shows 3.0v and charging happily.

So — I would guess the DEWorld just brutally slapped the cell around til it gave up and reset, and I have my doubts it’s very smart, but that was useful.

(I can take pictures of the circuit board inside it if that might help recognition)

They also sell (direct from that site) various other things including this car charger:

Nitecore i1 looks interesting, except that i don’t care about the vaping extras…

Here's a picture of the board in the "deworld" charger from Radio Shack (mentioned above as a suggestion).

I haven't figured out some new trick about making flickr pictures appear, it used to work straightforwardly; educate me by PM, anyone

Curious if this is enough to identify any useful information about this. It seems to terminate (or trickle?) -- at 4.21v (light changes from red to green).

Nitecore had the same idea, I expect to receive one for review soon.

I have these and I’m pretty impressed so far, would be nice to have a review of yours:

Miller ML-102 V9.0
http://www.gearbest.com/chargers/pp_232581.html

I have posted some basic info and teardown of the ML202 here:

About the ML-102 V9.0 I can’t detect any significant difference with my V8.0 other than a sightly more stable USB output, charge current and termination seem to be the same.

It’d be nice if you could make a graph for the ego output. I have a sneaking suspicion most ego USB-powered chargers people use are terrible (IC in pic is an LM324) and the Nitecore could be a reliable alternative that I can recommend.

Are you going to test the miller ml-102 v9.0?? (The one with battery level indicator with 5 green leds…)

Tx

My guess is that it is parallel to the normal charging terminals. I will check it.

Yes, I do have it on order.

Thanks mate. I already have 1 here and two more in order… Is a great update on the ml102… But I dont have equipment to test it.

However I stop charging once the leds show battery full and the battery ends at 4.15 volt… I think it stops charging…

Hi HKJ. Do you have experience with this charger? The physical quality is good, but I’d like to know if it would be safe for unprotected high drain cells… if so, it would be a great ‘gift’ charger.

I do not know about that charger, but generally I lack any confidence in that kind of cheap chargers and that is both for charging and safety.

Thanks…

Did you ever received the 2.2 revision of the OPUS? Did I miss it?

I remeber the 2.1V was provided directly by them. Would be nice if they changed the pwm charging algorythm, unlikely but…you never know.

No, the change from 2.1 to 2.2 was suppose to be minor.
