Congratulations and many thanks to everyone involved. I have thoroughly enjoyed being a small part of this event.
Reading through this year’s amazing builds has been both educational and inspirational.
I would like to particularly acknowledge the generosity of those members who have given up a lot of their own time and money to create unique prizes for this competition. Bravo!
Congratulations to all participants, i would like to announce that for next years contest (if the organizers allow) one of the prizes for Peoples Choice Awards will be ” С И Ј А Л И Ц А “… (not to be confused with this years ”сијаличка”)
Congratulations to all the contenders! I have not always posted in the individual threads, but have read and everything with a lot of joy and admiration :-)
Many thanks and congratulations to everyone who participated in this year’s contest!
Huge thanks to _the_ for organizing all this, he bent over backwards to make everything work smoothly.
Many thanks to the vendors and other generous members here that offered the tempting prizes.
Much appreciation goes out to the judges that used their time and insight to rank the participants.
And of course, where would the participants be without all of our users to cheer them on during the build process! It was really heartening to see the amount of support and interest the build threads received.
And last but definitely not least: Congratulations to everyone who participated in this contest! I’m all thumbs and I like to congratulate myself when I manage to thread a lanyard onto a flashlight, but I also have an eye for detail and I recognize quality when I see it. And let me tell you, the builds this year exhibited an incredible amount of time, effort, expense, and above all— skill! We have an unbelievable group of craftsmen and craftswomen around here, and it’s fascinating to see what you managed to come up with.
Thanks so much to everyone, and we’ll see you all back for next year’s contest!
Surprised no one has nabbed that S30 TI yet. Knowing Dale’s affinity for that particular spot on the periodic table it shouldn’t be available much longer.
Sorry I was slow claiming my prize. I had a question about the sinner light before I chose it. Plus I work at night and sleep during the day. I want to thanks everybody for their help and support during this build. I especially want to thank the, the judges and sponsors, and vendors/suppliers. It was an incredible learning experience for me. I’ve already started planning next years contest build but I bet I can’t wait until then My mind is swirling with about 10 different ideas.
Wow, I get to pick a prize? I thought the light I built was prize enough, so much pure satisfaction in the learning curve and seeing it actually come to fruition…
Thanks guys, really appreciate the confidence inspiring compliments.
Now, which way did he go? lol I have a smaller Olight Titanium, the 10 something or other, and while Ti is truly a fav I’m getting too many Ti lights and I can’t have a favorite if there’s too many, right?
DB SAR’s steampunk build really really enthralls me, so I am going to have to pick that gorgeous unique chunk of copper goodness! With Mother’s polish and Renaissance Wax standing by, I claim the awesome Steampunk Light. Woohooo! (when I saw it come to completion in his thread I was like Man I’d love to have one like that!)
Unbelievable, y’all built some fantastic lights and it’s just incredible watching what happens on this forum, what a great place to spend all my time, ignoring my real family.
