Why you should never buy to Gearbest

I purchased a Courui D01 and requested shipping to FmC in Australia for modification, but the shipment has been delayed. Now, I’m getting the “send a copy of your ID Card[s] (two, not one!) to prove your identity” email. I won’t do that. I hope the order is sent soon without any need for ‘identification’.

Update: Purchase ‘resolved’ as of 10/31 - I received a refund, but I lost the points I used to lower the price AND the price has risen considerably. Rather than repurchase at the new higher price, I did a price match with Kaidomain (and they bested the GB price). Not the best solution, but I won’t complain.

gearbest is the worse ever dont buy there

Ha ha +1

Lumintop Tool ordered from GearBest, 25 September 2015.

Shipped 28 September 2015, via China Post untracked.

Received today, 13 October 2015.

Tool is in excellent shape, and I am very happy.

i ordered 8.august and till now still nothing arrived and gearbest didnt reply my ticket since 6 days !!!

cheap but never deliver make sit expensive

Had only one problem (total 15 orders) with gearbest and they solved it quickly.

The main reason why I only use PayPal when ordering from GearBest.

I recommend everyone use only PayPal from any overseas seller.

i order since over 10 years stuff from china never had a problem with any seller but what i am thru with gearbest is a real nightmare the only order they got right was a para cord which i paid for registered post.

1 out of 6 is right all others had trouble plus very bad customer service slow and unprofessional

Speaking about good customer service... I have excellent treatment from Fasttech. Maybe it is because I have spent quite a bit in their store lately. My tickets were answered within 8hrs shift! Refund for damage goods was a breeze and replacement orders all came with free tracking codes!

I am a very happy buyer at FT, but my heart is with GB because of the unbeatable price.

Yesterday, I received the Yezl Y3 that I ordered on 9/19/2015. This is how it arrived:

M.

I opened up a ticket with Gearbest. We'll see what happens (and how long it takes).

I currently have two tickets open with them, and have not received any reply as of yet.

One for an order placed on 9/22 that still shows as "In Processing". Another, for an order that was placed at the same time, that I still haven't received.

I'm in no rush, but if I don't receive replies I will be opening a dispute through paypal day 30.

You made an order on 9/22 and opened a ticket because you “yet” havent received it :D?!

Srsly?

Yes, because the tracking number isn't working at all.

I'm more concerned with the order that's been "processing" since 9/22 though.

the last 2 orders i placed with GB had weird tracking numbers… meaning they never actually worked on 17track or usps…. but both orders seemed to arrive within 10 days and in good shape - so not complaining haha.

Now it makes sense

Two of my orders are about to be 60 days since ordered, will contact them and ask for free reship with registered mail.

I always request for status update if my package processing takes more than 2 weeks or so.

They are using dpex.com for some of their expedited shipping. If you are presented with a 550062756075 (12digits) tracking number, most likely it is under them.

I ordered a Xioami reddot pair of earphones from GB on special in July based on a recommendation here on BLF.Since the 2 Xtar chargers ordered the same day(different order)arrived weeks ago,and two later orders as well,I opened a ticket on Tuesday(13th)The next day,I got a reply requesting address confirmation,to check at post office and check with family and friends that they did not sign for it.
I replied yesterday,address OK,PO and friends clear.
Today I got offered 2 options, refund or free resend,I took resend.I have no doubt it will be sent.
So ,resolved in 3 days

Hugsby XP-11 (AA version) ordered 25 September 2015.

Shipped 5 October 2015, via unregistered China Post. Lead time listed on product page is “3 - 5 business days,” so actual is slightly over that.

Received in good shape 19 October 2015.

Submitted ticket for my Yezl Y3. Ordered 9/19/2015, received 10/13/2015. It arrived with switch lying inside package, detached.

  • Filed claim ticket on 10/13/2015, including pictures.
  • Received response from Gearbest on 10/15/2015. Gearbest said that it was a “small defect” and offered to compensate me with $5.00 Gearbest store credit.
  • I sent my response to Gearbest on 10/15/2015, telling them that their $5 offer was not acceptable. I requested a repair, replacement or refund.
  • Gearbest sent a message back on 10/16/2015, requesting a video documenting the damage. (WHAT A VIDEO WOULD SHOW THAT A PHOTOGRAPH WOULD NOT, I DON’T KNOW!)
  • I sent Gearbest a video on 10/16/2015.
  • Today, I sent them another message, asking whether they had reviewed the video.

Wait and see.
