Ok. thanks! So they are not software related….
My NITECORE i4 exploded last evening, so I’m looking for a better replacement and the usual suspects are always the same Lii-500 and C3100, I like haveing 2A but not the PWM, but also having a decent impedance meter is nice, without to have to use my hobby charger
nevermind, i will flip the coin and decide if the (pwm) OPUS is worth the price 50% more of the (linear) Lii-500
This isn’t actually a charger but a cheap constant resistance discharge tester. Basically, you power it over microUSB, you attach resistors that determine the discharge current (depending on battery voltage, staying within the board’s 3amp limit and capable of dissipating the power sinked into them), connect a battery, optionally change the discharge end voltage and then it starts a discharge cycle. It’s in no way a proper CC testing unit but it’s so cheap that it could be an alternative for people without the money for a proper analyzing charger.
The Ansmann is fairly expensive, the Titanium not so bad, except it will probably have a rather high shipping charge.
I might buy one for test, but not just now.
It is, of course, always possible to ask dealers/manufacturers if they will give me one for review If many people ask there is a good possibility I will get one.
