Only 2 posts? I have to wonder if the OP ever got his money refunded by “Lumitak”.
I’ve edited my original post because “Lumitak” just called me back from the voicemail I had left them. They asked some good questions and say I should expect to be receiving a refund within about 5 days. Will post follow-up to let all know whether or not that occurs.
“Our newly designed LED Emitter is 20% more efficient than the original XM-L models and emits a higher spectrum of whiter light. You WILL notice a significant improvement over the original XML-U2 version. Our revolutionary emitter has a silver backing and a more effective led pattern than the original XML LED.”
That’s just simply awesome. They have their own LED, a XM-L T-6…
A lot of flashlights in the industry these days look a lot alike. We have found our flashlight to be one of the brightest and most durable flashlights you will buy for its size. And we can back that statement with our unbeatable money back guarantee!
It may look similar, but we have built it to last! And inside, we have packed with the best in lead LED technology. We also include a protected battery and smart charger. You will never be able to find that on Amazon or Ebay! We hope this email helps to clarify your concerns.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns, I’m always happy to help!
Well I fell for the LUMITAK scam but the sad part is that my Coleman T50 puts it to shame . I need to find the best light I can for $100 and I need some advice and actual fact from someone that really knows what they are talking about, so if anyone can help me , please do . Thanks
There is no best light for 100$ Its like when you say show me the best vehicle for 50K. There are flashlights for all purposes and they come in all sizes, battery types or even material (titanium, steel…). You dont even said if you want an EDC light for example or a light for around the house etc… If you want the best for your money i would look at flashsales or goupbuys from chinese online shops like banggood. For 100 dollar you will get a pretty good light for your purpose.
Thanks for the advice and what I’m looking for is a really strong beam that is really bright and I have what is an impressive light to me but it’s output is rated at 500 lumens and I want something 1000 +
Better late than never?
Sorry for not paying closer attention to this post that helped me so much.
I contacted the company and asked to return it with a refund and I said it was not performing as I hoped it would. It’s been a while since this happened but I think they gave me somewhere around $40 refund and let me keep their “world’s brightest light.”
I was not even expecting a reply from them since they’re ripping people off so I took the $40 as a win and a lesson learned.
Thanks again for everyone that helped me here.
