10440 flashlight suggestions?

Anyone have a good 10440 flashlight they’d recommend? And has anyone used one of these with a 10440?

100lm Mini CREE R5 AAA/10440

for a twisty, the Jexree Mini is a good design. I prefer the SF-348 though. It’s very nice looking and has a clicky, but it can be a bit slippery.

Lumintop Tool! There is a special price going around somewhere, about $12 I think.

Thank you both

I you like to mod i have so far not found a more capable 10440 twisty host than the Jexree Mini

If you don’t like to mod the twisty Olight i3S is always a nice option.

And for a clicky host or stock light so far the best i have found is the Lumintop tool, if you time it right gearbest seems to be running flash deals on them sometimes.

For unmodded, the Tank007 E09 is an excellent 3-mode twisty and the price makes it well worth having. 10440 makes this light perform very well without heat issues on Hi and while no ‘moon’ mode, Lo isn’t excessively bright. MY EDC so you can count on it to be very sturdy and reliable.

I like using 10440 in my Hugsby XP-1 ( with XP-2 head)
its slightly larger diameter than the SF-348, but much grippier surface contours.

I contacted the manufacturer of the Tank007 E09 a while back. They specifically stated it wasn’t designed for the 10440. I tried it in a Ti3 as well and it didn’t end well. Got too hot to handle.

All I can do is honestly relate my real-life experiences which I have done. Mine handles fully-charged Efest 10440’s with aplomb getting very, very, warm because of it’s small size but not causing harm or even distress of any kind to light, cell, or bare-handed user right down to the end of usable cell capacity. YMMV but my mileage is very good with this one and I still recommend it.

Here, Here
Tank007 E09 can handle the 10440 for sure.
Will the LED last 20,000 hrs?
Who cares, it’s a great flashlight for under $20 and unlike some other brands the driver doesn’t burn out after 10440 use, meaning it can go back to using AAA Ni-Mh without loss of modes.
Doesn’t have the newest emitter but it just plain works day in day out.

Good to know, thank you both. I have a Tank007 and put it on my wife’s keychain (I got the pinkish/purplish one for her. It has held up well for her.

KD Buckle

Nix nein on the Buckle, out of stock and no more made…

I just got in the Thorfire PF03, three mode, true moonlight mode and AAA/NiMh only. Really nice light, will get a review up soon…

EDIT, the directions say no 10440… So I apologize for listing it. It is over 100 lumen on an alkaline AAA though.

I have a maratac AAA copper as EDC and it works great, a bit on the expensive side but the copper body is beautifully machined. After carrying it for 3 months I still can’t find any flaws.

What a special light, its so cheap.
