yeah, i only saw the one for the EC-R16 on reddit. it actually was a decent review. the guy was just pissed his wasn’t too waterproof. might have just been a bum light. but seriously, as long as it can handle some rain from time to time, it doesn’t bother me. i bought two given they are an awesome deal with the coupon. one for me. one for the wife.
really dig how small it is and being self charging. great for traveling via plane. i don’t need TSA staring at a flashlight and charger like they’re some sort of bomb. LOL!
wish the lights weren’t cool white, but they are fine for what i’ll use them for.
Battery Tube and Tailcap from MS-R25 and MS-R28 are the same.
You can feel a temperature rising very quick, so the connection between LED and Body seems good.
They could lube the threads with a little more grease.
In my opinion very nice is the “soft” switch between modes with a one sec dimming effect.
The verry long NONAME protected Panasonic 3400mAh fit into both Flashlights.
MS-R25 has a little spring at + terminal, so Flat Tops are no problem.
MS-R28 On both Flashlights the + Terminal needs cleaning.
NO FLAT TOP Batterys
@RaVeN
Short click side switch: turbo > high > mid > low
Long click side switch: strobe another click back to lightning mode.
doubble click side switch: direct turbo
Torch wil memory the last mode.
Manual says: To avoid overheating and ensure LED lifespan, Ms-R25 will automatically step down slowly till the output is lower than 65% of the turbo brightness when temperature istoo high. For turbo again pls restart the torch or press side swich for choosing.
@Patrickbateman
I would say something like the Nitecore MH20 CW ( 6000K ).
Freeme, I am very interested in the MH27! I really like the look of this light, with 53500 cd and RGB it is very appealing. Seeing as I don’t have any coloured lights I figure this will kill a few birds with one stone too. Any idea when this GB will be, roughly?
