They're a good product, at a good price ...

had a few orders already, but still over 100 remaining

Hi Everyone,

I'm just waiting on some data which I'll be posting here hopefully tonight (our time +8)

Icluding current draw in various modes, temperature data etc ...

thanks,

Hi,

Had a look around and noticed there're a lot of people quoting 3800 Lumens from a 3 x Cree T6 flashlight.

Find it a little hard to believe when this lamp has an output of aprox 900±50 lumens

Yeah, 3800 is too high. But 900 sounds too low actually. My Manafont Ultrafire 3-mode XM-L dropin produces something like 800 lumens if I remember correctly.

Sorry need to clarify ... 900±50 per lamp ... x 3 = ~2800 Lumens

Hmm, not letting me log into the site after registering for some reason, states I don't have cookies enabled on my browser, which I do. Tried I.E., Chrome, and Firefox.

Hi akDude

Man, all of those browsers should work .. I'll keep an eye out for your registration

Give it another go .. haven't had any problems

Hi Gorann

The deal is on ..

and its actually a screw pill

Been told hese are better for theremal management of the LED ... Thats what the experts told me

Looks identical to my FryRay 3800, but unbadged. Will be interesting to get some tailcap numbers, to say the least...

My FryRay has been relegated to baton duty.

If it is the screw-in version, that's quite the deal on the light.

Beamshots!

Are they shipped from China?

Ok, finally got in, and put a order in, I'll put some info up when it shows up a month from now. :)

Hi Guys,

we're not a scam .. trust me .. well hard to ask this from you isn't it :)

yes this site is new, but the company isn't

Every product on the site is AUD $

Postage won't take a month ... normally 10-12 days

As for screw or drop ?????

I got the info from a couple of Engineers from different companies ... they were all of the belief that screw is better to transfer heat ..

I dont have an answer myslef, I haven't run any tests to prove either way ..

Maybe some of you guys might know

Hey Gorann,

thats now fixed .. sorry for the confusion .. both US & AUD are about th same anyway .. maybe $0.01 difference

The FryRay had screw-in, and drop-in variants. The drop-in variants failed at times, the screw-in variants not so much.

YouWantLED already stated this light is the screw-in version, which is the better of the two.

Hi r1derbike,

I hear that about the drop-ins .. with the occasional failures due to heat I think

Hi Gorann...

The site has always been in AUD and never changed from that ..

I think (I stand to be corrected) when you pay through PayPal its the same exchange rate from any country ..

The other thing is Gorann .. through our oversight and your smart move .. you took off a further $3.12 by using a coupon which wasn't meant to apply to this deal .. So really don't have anything to complain about, right ??

BTW people .. the coupon thing has been removed now ...

That's about $3 more so it's actually $42, not $39. And gorann let us know how they deal with your overcharge.

Ninja'd. Scratch that. This thread is fast.

No I think you misunderstood ... he saved himself $3.12 so he only paid $35.88

and just to let you know how we dealt with it .. "we sold it to him at that price because it was not his mistake, it was ours"

I pulled the trigger too. Ended up being $42.88 with the exchange rate. I liked $39 better but this will be Foy's very first multi-emitter flashlight. It's an exclusive club, right? If you don't have a multi-emitter, torch you can't log into the secret sub-forum. Boaz is the moderator. Can't wait to be one of the cool heads.

I am still trying to decide if I need another skyray. Just realized I paid $52.50 for mine so this is a great deal.

I could tape both together and have a 6 xml light

update:

I just bought one. Serious lack of willpower.
