Nitecore EC4SW

Who would have thought, right?

Let’s hope they fix the regulation and parasitic drain problem and we might have another group buy on our hands!

Right, M4D_M4X?

Frankly, I was kinda’ waiting for this one.
Having a ‘pocketable’ MT-G2 light is the one thing I ain’t got yet :expressionless:

I absolutely love my P36 from Nitecore. I wish the top level had more humph, but 2k is not really a slouch either.

The difference between 1425-1500 and 2000 lumens is too subtle for me. I don’t want my top stetting to be subtle!

and we all know the MT-G2 is capable of SO MUCH MORE THAN 2K.

Doubt it, the run time is exactly the same. Driver pulling same power at all levels. Looks like just an emitter swap. Really disappointed about the PWM. Anyone know how much efficiency we lost from that?

So, is anyone selling these flashlights yet?

Has anyone gotten one?

Noob question is this a thrower or a flooder?

Very large hotspot. Lots of floody light.

It seems to me that it doesnt have zoom right?
So I take it that the hotspot is probably going to be too bright to actually see anything anything up to 160feet?

Not zoomable. I have the XHP50 version which should be similar to the MTG2, but the XHP50 throws a bit more (more intense hotspot). It’s very bright up close, but you can dial it back very rapidly with a few quick button presses if needed.

That’s what modes are for.

To be honest i don’t know how to read those specs.
But even with the lower mode isn’t there going to be a hotspot with this light?

And also to me i am thinking that with the lower modes the flood will have less intensity.
I’m looking for a flashlight that lights up a big range so they i can look for stuff in the woods.
I’m a geocacher and like to geocache at night and looking for small containers in the dark can be tricky without has a good illuminated spot 50 to 100 meters.
