‘Scapegoat’. Nothing will not happen to Ivy. They got found out for their game, put it on the ‘back’ of a rogue employee for the public to see they are a honest company. Everybody is happy. Nobody gets ‘hurt’.

They are at the moment probably sipping some tea thinking, “we big clever, fool americans many”

Which is why I’ve a Cart and Wish List that have been sitting around for ages now, as the last person that promised me something and didn’t deliver upon it, didn’t get a sale.
Funnily enough Banggood didn’t get the sale either!
So it doesn’t just affect the CSR yet the company too.

Neal, please ensure there’s not just scapegoats, yet Management take accountability serious enough, that they will step in to resolve issues in a positive manner.
Even if that means they have to take a loss leader sale for the sake of good will, in the long term, it maintains Banggood holds a positive name in the community.

It’s all too easy to do a Google search for bad reviews of a company these days for the bosses to ignore this.

Bought a xaomi powerbank on the 22nd of november, shipped , untracked, on the 24th and here by the 30th. A total thumbs up,what more can i say, keep up the good work!

I ordered the MC1 Plus last Friday, but received the regular MC1 :frowning:

On the plus side it only took a total of 7 days to get to me.

did you mail CService@bangood.com ?

Yep, waiting on their reply. Being a Friday evening I expect I probably won’t hear back until Tuesday.

Looks like everything is sorted  I received a reply from customer service on Saturday which I wasn’t expecting. Both customer service reps I dealt with were pleasant and all my emails were replied to within 24 hours.

Keep up the good work BG.

Edit- I just received the replacement MC1 Plus. I placed my initial order on Nov 28 and received the first item, contacted CS, and have now received the replacement in 18 days!

Well, Banggood finally let me down. I placed an order for quite a few things which were going to be used as Christmas presents. I ordered 2 XIAOMI 10000mAh Power Banks and only received 1 :weary:

I’ve placed quite a few orders with Banggood, and prefer them over all of the other Chinese sellers; it sucks it has to happen this close to Christmas :expressionless:

In one of the Christmas sales from Banggood, they offered a set of Mityutoyo calipers for $29.99. I looked the pictures over, and searched the web to see if they were genuine. All the tell tales in the pictures made them look real, including the lock screw being more ‘landscape’ than ‘portrait’. So I ordered them 11/25. When they came in on 1/7, while they look fairly good and do measure accurately and return to zero, the lock screw is the ‘portrait’ type that the intertubes say indicates a clone.

I realize that paying $30 for a set of genuine Mityutoyo’s is unlikely, but I still feel a little taken advantage of. What say you, is this worth disputing or do I just keep it in mind for future reference.

To be honest, they will surely do what I need them to do. The biggest downside that I see is the fakes have a more limited battery life.

At the bottom of the description it says

Was this there when you purchased it?

I have no idea if that was there or not. I read it pretty closely, but it was over a month ago, and I certainly didn’t take a screenshot of the page to refer back to at this point.

I don’t think it is fair of me to expect more of a discount, so I wont ‘file’ anything more than these comments. It does seem like that Note should be a little bigger though.

I am getting anxious to get my Quinlan U11 I bought on 12/20/15 and the tracking does not update, it’s been stuck on:

2016-01-01 20:54 Shipment information sent to FedEx

25 Days in transit and counting, I hope I don’t have to file a claim… :frowning: I really want the light, what is Priority Direct Mail anyway?

I tried the direct mail option at Banggood on two orders placed on December 25th and 28th. . 17tracks can not find the numbers. Will just have to wait and see. I have always have had good luck with Banggood. Maybe the direct mail option is a bad choice.

Orders arrived three weeks after this post. No problems.

Well I have had it with Banggood. They KNOW the Cometa is a dangerous pipe bomb waiting to happen, yet they are fighting our paypal claims. My Cometa shorted out right away when I put in a BASEN 26650 and melted the spring. I’m lucky it did not explode.

I urge ADMIN to give Banggood the LOWEST rating possible and I urge BLF members to avoid Banggood , who are looking like a bunch of crooks.

What I’m saying is DO NOT BUY FROM BANGGOOD !!!
Unless you get a good deal on a nice flashlight and maybe throw in some sunglasses and some webbed swimming gloves and a unicorn horn that glows in the dark.

Need to add they also refuse to publish negative reviews on the Cometa even though these reviews could contains some of the solutions for the issues reported.

The GBs where they acted as the vendor have gone down to the drain lately, from the BLF A6 built quality and short tube thread, BLF Kronos built quality, serial numbers mixed-up, box damaged in transit to the latest Cometa pipe bomb fiasco.

And yet the CS want us to upload videos for some of these known problems when sometimes few photos are sufficed.

Maybe I’ve just been extremely lucky but I’m at 100% success rate with Banggood

I just recently took delivery of a Thorfire C8S and an Astrolux A01 - two sep orders and both took just 2 weeks to arrive (I’m in Australia). Comparing them to GB, my order for a D4 charger from GB, placed at the same time, is still a no show. So BG’s delivery channel is a winner for me so far.

Last year, I also bought half a dozen nano quads for Christmas gifts - and again, no problems

Whether you’re after a flashlight, quads or even a ‘SHE-WEE’ from BG, do your research because in amongst all the stuff they sell, there will be a lot of sub-standard products they sell. Unfortunately, sometimes what looks like a good product on the surface, turns out to be shite and it’s only through good people sharing their bad experiences, that we get a feel for what products to stay away from (point in case - I won’t be rushing to get a Cometa).

My biggest hate so far with BG - I don’t like the idea of BG removing negative reviews - if ever I have a bad review to post, rest assured, I will be posting here on BLF in big capitals (isn’t that a double something?). If people are doing research on reviews on a particular flashlight, they usually do what I do……google search and end up here or CPF.

To quote Animal Farm….“Don’t get mad, get even”

So far I’ve only dealt with BG and GB. I would say BG is the better one for the following reasons:

1. Shipping is faster.
2. Offers full PayPal refund instead of store credit.
3. Tracking info seems more accurate. Real, actually. GB had my package stuck in Singapore for weeks, then suddenly show up in the US, from Germany. Go figure.

But no matter what, I won’t pay any extra for shipping or insurance anymore. I think it is all just extra profit for them. It’s all Russian roulette how fast they show up, if they show up at all, anyways.

I think I’m personally still sitting on the fence with BG.

- Orders have arrived on average in 2 weeks (my Liitokala Lii-500 arrived in just 1 week).

- Everything apart from the Cometa (which I refused to use) was fully functioning.

  • It took me a week to get a full refund on the Cometa.

I generally only use the Chinese retailers to buy things that I am unable to buy in Australia.

I filed a paypal claim and a scathing review on BG and got my refund , but I really blew my top when they asked for a video for the Cometa.
I think they are awful for still selling the Cometa, with a plastic insulator…
If it gets lost, ppl could die in a house fire while sleeping. There’s no excuse for Banggood still selling the pipe bomb

Here’s some Banggood email addies

I’m still very happy with Banggood myself. I love that they have semi express shipping options for a realistic price. I mostly just reorder the same 5-10 products so I’v not had too many hiccups.

I was not part of the group buy for that defective light, but I have done a few group buys. I definitely think its a poor choice for them to keep selling a light that has been reported as dangerous.

I’m not surprised they are fighting the paypal claims though. BG is not a manufacturer. The way a group buy works is one person collects a large some of money from many individuals in order to pay a manufacture to get a price break on the light. Once that money is spent its spent. BG does NOT have your money any more, and they did NOT make the defective product. If the manufacturer does not offer a warranty then where is BG suppose to get thousands of dollars to cover this??

Right now each person who got a bad light is feeling sick because they got burned for $70 bucks (or what ever the GB price was). Just imagine how you would feel if your were in Neils shoes and you were on the hook for like $5,000 bucks that you don’t have because he paid it to the manufacture of the bogus lights.
