Just received my 2nd batch of these lights. First one was impressive, but now something went wrong. Tint is much warmer than my former ones with some green hint and the emitter itself is too yellow to be a nichia. I will try to post some beamshots and pictures of this, but I can only think it’s a regular cree in a BLF engraved tube.

Not an expert by any means, but that second LED doesn’t look like a Nichia to me…
Definitely with a wrong emitter. Please contact Gearbest support and ask for replacement.
If they don't have any replacements left, I'll send you one of mine. :)

Just rcv'd my qty 2, finally - was shippped 11/06.
- On a used AAA cell, I got 49 lumens
- On a new EFEST 10440 @4.21v, I got lumens: 238 @start, 168 @30 secs with a steady drop and got pretty hot. After a min or so of rest, it returned to about 238 lumens.
Real nice white tint.
Ordered mine on Nov 14. Still Waiting… And part of me hopes I don’t like it because if I do, I should have ordered more! :zipper_mouth_face:

It’s still a decent light but I bought mine specifically for the Nichia. Guess I’ll open up a trouble ticket.

Mine finally came today after work! But I think I got a yellow one like you did. Is one of them engraved and the other isn’t?
Both are engraved and should be BLF editions not the regular singfire one, that’s what bothers me the most.

i have received mine 3 as well. i really like the tint! not sure if I’ll put a nimh or 10440 in them yet.
I don't think so. It's probably a honest mistake, like simply taking a wrong emitter when assembling the light or picking a wrong light when sending them to be engraved.
If they would like to scam us, they would have swapped wrong emitters to everyone.
My offer is still valid: If Gearbest can't make it right, I will. :)
I really hope these emitters make there way to other, bigger EDC lights (e.g 18650). I love the tint and the higher CRI without any hint of magenta etc. I like them so much that I’ve been trying to find a modder to make another light for me with these emitters, but so far no luck…
FWIW—the original batch of 348’s in GB were terrific!
The CW is great for me—and the
“NW” was very vanilla milkshake/orange Julius tinted IF you like warmer tints.
Both http://intl-outdoor.com and http://www.mtnelectronics.com carries the emitters. They are also both known to help customers out with special requests.

I’m really quite excited to get this flashlight, whenever it gets here, but I hope I get the proper version.
I have not received no engraved one ordered Oct 28th.
I have ordered engraved version Dec 3th.
At first order there were about 30$ items, but they send this flashlight separately via China Post Unregistered, others SE post unregistered.
Already received SE post package. If I will not receive in one week more, I will open dispute in case it gets lost.
