Just got my first stainless-steel light. I like the appearance, but worry about its ability to shed heat. Because of heat, I run it on AAA rather than 10440. My first copper light, the BLF X5, will likely begin shipping in January. Anodized aluminum also works for me. I prefer "natural," un-dyed anodization.

Frankly, my first impression is ho-hum. Perhaps it will grow on me. The most important thing is that it be highly recognizable. What you have may be fine for that purpose.

2 The rabbit looks great, has a nice sense of nature to it.

Nichia because I’ve never owned one and I hear such good things I’d like to see for myself.

1. SS (copper is good for heat sink but I don’t like it that much as a host build material)
2. Rabit -> OK (thou, crosshair is missing :D)
3. Nichia (I have plenty Cree leds but not one Nichia leds so I would like to try).
