Lumitak Alphaelite Flashlight: "World's Brightest"

sadly that’s how these scammers make their way, is preying on the thousands of uneducated unaware buyers out there who are easily fooled by false ads.

Only 2 posts? I have to wonder if the OP ever got his money refunded by “Lumitak”.

I’ve edited my original post because “Lumitak” just called me back from the voicemail I had left them. They asked some good questions and say I should expect to be receiving a refund within about 5 days. Will post follow-up to let all know whether or not that occurs.

Actually, there were 32 posts before you posted your comments.

The first 30 were on the first page. What you were looking at was the second page. 0:)

. . .

And welcome to the BLF forum!

I was referring to the number of posts by the original poster. Apparently he hasn’t posted any follow-up to say how his transaction turned out.

I don’t think Yourrid bought anything:

BTW, he posted 5 times. 0:)

I have to say this company is a stand-up outfit, in that they promptly refunded my purchase price request.

I’m still in the market for a high quality brighter AA or solar panel rechargeable flashlight than this one, in case anyone has any recommendations:

Thank you for your help.

Aww! Never mind. Somehow I got it in my head that the other guy who bought this light was the OP…

It was actually Brandaloo and I wish he had posted follow-up.

They didn’t even want the flashlight back…

Usually when a company DOESN’T want their own product back, means they were selling anyways. Just my 2 cents, glad you got a refund.

Could not resist and sent him a FU greeting email with other niceties…

Our newly designed LED Emitter is 20% more efficient than the original XM-L models and emits a higher spectrum of whiter light. You WILL notice a significant improvement over the original XML-U2 version. Our revolutionary emitter has a silver backing and a more effective led pattern than the original XML LED.”

That’s just simply awesome. They have their own LED, a XM-L T-6…

Wow, under $10 for the world’s brightest flashlight? That’s very impressive! :open_mouth:

Banggood sells it for 10
This guy sells it for 50

Even Mark Cuban would love to have margins like that

Hello there,

Thanks for getting in touch!

A lot of flashlights in the industry these days look a lot alike. We have found our flashlight to be one of the brightest and most durable flashlights you will buy for its size. And we can back that statement with our unbeatable money back guarantee!
It may look similar, but we have built it to last! And inside, we have packed with the best in lead LED technology. We also include a protected battery and smart charger. You will never be able to find that on Amazon or Ebay! We hope this email helps to clarify your concerns.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns, I’m always happy to help!

Regards,

Mitch

Well I fell for the LUMITAK scam but the sad part is that my Coleman T50 puts it to shame . I need to find the best light I can for $100 and I need some advice and actual fact from someone that really knows what they are talking about, so if anyone can help me , please do . Thanks

Welcome and don’t knock yourself for falling into an advertising trap, they do that stuff for a living.

Start browsing the reviews here, but really think to yourself what you want in a light…

Small, large, throws a beam, floods an area, etc. There are light for everything but not one light that does it all….

Hope your journey here is pleasant!

There is no best light for 100$ Its like when you say show me the best vehicle for 50K. There are flashlights for all purposes and they come in all sizes, battery types or even material (titanium, steel…). You dont even said if you want an EDC light for example or a light for around the house etc… If you want the best for your money i would look at flashsales or goupbuys from chinese online shops like banggood. For 100 dollar you will get a pretty good light for your purpose.

Thanks for the advice and what I’m looking for is a really strong beam that is really bright and I have what is an impressive light to me but it’s output is rated at 500 lumens and I want something 1000 +

Try this one:

The first few posts will give you the idea of it…

Great price too….

Better late than never?
Sorry for not paying closer attention to this post that helped me so much.
I contacted the company and asked to return it with a refund and I said it was not performing as I hoped it would. It’s been a while since this happened but I think they gave me somewhere around $40 refund and let me keep their “world’s brightest light.”
I was not even expecting a reply from them since they’re ripping people off so I took the $40 as a win and a lesson learned.
Thanks again for everyone that helped me here.

What is the actual name of this host I see everybody peddling?
