An upgrade to the Supfire L3. Looking at mine the battery tubes have exactly the same patterns. The bezel ring is also the same. I suspect that it was a production change to get to an emitter shelf and possible deeper cavity for the driver. The L3 is also a 22mm driver.
Is an AR lens included?
Will both OP and SMO reflectors be sold separately?
Will extension tubes be sold separately?
Will extension tubes interchange with Convoy L2?
Unsure. Host just got listed this week. You are referring to new or old L2?
New L2 is a lot offer over this model. Let see if we have a chance to have a side-by-side comparison.

Thanks freeme. Im not very impressed with the large thermal bottleneck in the head of the L2 so will probably pass. It looks like it will cook the top cell in short order while the head stays cool.
The new version. Have you seen the new L6 rendering? The new L2 will almost certainly suffer from the same flaws in the exact same places.

I remember you also posted a 1 × 18650 light about a month ago (non convoy) that left proper critical aluminum thickness in the head to circulate heat throughout the entire surface. Did that ever make it into production?
Side switch task group at it again though - better with a body mounted side e-switch. Please, would love to have a better quality Y3 in host form.
SS bezel of course would be sweet too, and also agree with FlashPilot on the heat conductance.
I do understand the compromises of course, and practical issues of dealing with the other side.
For the AR lens, to me there's no sense to providing one because they are very hit and miss from China (wasted a lot of time/effort/$$$ on them in the past), and nothing seems to come close to the UCL and UCLp's - just not worth a couple extra bucks in cost. Bigger brands have provided quality AR lens, but anything generic or no-name will be a disappointment most likely.
This is definitely one of the best looking single 26650 flashlight in market.
Dang this is gorgeous! It's along the lines of the JAX Z1 and Convoy L2 - two of the best look'n lights around. I would definitely be in on these - look at all that gorgeous finning. Also like the squared off machining - anti-roll feature. Agree with PD68 though - would be nice with a bigger head, but I'll still take 1-2 as-is.
Sweet!
but, will it fit a single 26700?
Got a link to any more info?

It is not specified for 26700. Driver is 22mm. All the information is up and I have submitted to vendor to request for OP reflector option.

So now do I get this or the L2? 22mm driver is pretty nice for modding…

Get L2 first.
Because we need to show our love to Convoy. Haha.
I will try to get a GB price for the host in OP. Hope it will become a cheaper alternative to L2.

Freakin hilarious.

Nice host, let me know when you have this deal available
But most designs are a compromise between one thing and another, even an F1 car.
It only becomes a problem if a part fails.

I heard host plus packaging will be 600+g.
After looking at the initial quote, it is only 50/50 chance for group buy to happen.

GB $34.11
That one looks very similar to an hd2010, with a bit different machining in the head.
