What was your best flashlight of 2015

BLF A6 would get my vote. TK's UI just rocks!

Lumintop tool AAA

Many worthy mentions this last year:

Olight s15R: ease of Charging (though, worryingly, did have an already quirky one burn its driver!, but not when charging)

Olight S1: Tiny Tiny Tiny and bright too on standard Li-Ion batteries.

Imalent SA04: AA batteries, variable light temperature and a groovy LCD Screen. Good Low Low, and a High High!

BLF X6: Nearly there, not quite up to expectation (low and high modes not as extreme as requested). Beatufil build and nice presentation box (when not labelled / taped over)

Eagle Eye X6R: Beautifully built and packaged (probably a Convoy Supplier/Manufacturer), though, again, a slight disappointment, the USB charging port did come off the board inside one!

Eagle Eye X6Hi: XP-L Hi with warmer tones available, lovely feel and Build Quality, good thrower for its size. Delivered in a BOX! with a presentation box inside

Nitecore MH20 NW: a Pocket Rocket, nice fit and finish. Sturdy USB charging socket.

Convoy S2+: Hosts and lights, especially in the grey/red/blue/green colours, and of course the 18350 coloured tubes too were a particular highlight for me.

And this years worthy winner (for the non-coding non-electronic Wizz-Kid Muggles among us)

BLF A6: An amazing EDC in Shorty format, and impressive in 18650.
LOVED the Bare Aluminium Option, especially in 18350 Shorty format, have 2 on me at all times on keys etc. Driver delivers 98% of promised low and high modes, and a real treat on a Budget.

I’ve probably missed a light or 2!

I think my favorite flashlight of the year was my triple-XPL modded DQG Tiny III with FET driver and external heatsink. Very compact, great grip, incredibly bright.

The Meteor.

@Jackthe clipper,

Never seen you be so brief!

My BLF A6 which is my new EDC, overtaking my Nitecore P12 which I also love, but the A6 with it’s amazing driver tops it. Bought another with a different tint as it was so good. Second is my M2X-UT Javelot which is an amazing thrower for my budget. Paid £47 for it.

Maxtoch sniper Blf te best bang for the buck :stuck_out_tongue:

Zebralight H600Fd III

Can,
Well Done, one that I forgot from my list!
Clip a bit weak, but a personal favourite.

For me it has to be the lovely little multi purpose light I won in the scratch build contest.
Superbly custom made by MRsDNF.

The light

Build thread

I rotate between the 1A and 5A, I like the NW tint of the 5A, but the 1A does seem to have a few more lumens than the 5A. Put a 30Q in it fresh off the charger and they make me smile every time.

Best light overall: BLF A6: Now my most used and most liked light, but it’s not without some issues with the manufacturing. The design is superb, the fixes easy.

Best deal: BLF M24: an absolute steal for such an excellent thrower without issues.

Best “cool” factor: BLF 348: gifted several with AAA’s and all have become their EDC or go-to lights, a totally impressive little light!

I still love and use my C8’s but my days of “stock” lights may nearly be over and you’re ALL to blame for that. Thank You for the “enlightenment” BLF

Manker A6 was my favorite light for 2015, i just love the UI

This was the best and coolest flashlight i bought last year:

it really depends on the light and it purpose that i recieved in 2015.
for Throw, it has to be my new TK75vn (2015 edition), for EDC has to be my modded S15R (now neutral warm tint) for super compact flooder has to be Shadow JM35 MTG2, etc.

No question, even though I didn’t get to keep it.

Wow, what is that?

Missed this 1st time around I think.

If the clip was more ornate, I’d think it was a Steam-Punk Prop!
