Wrist watches. Post pics, if you EDC one!

I haven't worn a watch with any regularity since getting a smart phone, I even ended up selling my most expensive watch about 5 years ago (a genuine Rolex Submariner). I've still got about 10 other watches, this thread has spurred to to dig them out and consider wearing one again...

Today grey traser supersport with black/grey nato.

I’ve worn the G-Shock Mudman the last couple of years.

But I just ordered the black dialed Orient Mako USA.

The Orient brand was mentioned in another thread on BLF

……and after hours of YouTube research, pulled the trigger.

Tritium watches have great lume but anyone else notice the radioactive hazard symbol printed on the face of the watches that have tritium??

Most of the watches do i think. I’ve also been eyeing the Marathon watch as well. https://www.marathonwatch.com/product/jdd JDD
(not my photo btw, just one from google images.)

You’d have to eat all of the tritium vials in the watch for it to be even slightly dangerous, and even then, it probably wouldn’t.

Just be careful of the Russian watches with a polonium dial.

My watch is a Timex T49947.

I removed the leather and nylon watchband and replaced it with a black stainless steel mesh band.

I have a Blue Traser just like yours. I need to learn how to post pics. How old is your Traser? How is the brightness?

Sorry I’ve been inactive here for a while. I came back after reading Old Lumens was not doing all that great and needs surgery. Anyway, I bought a new watch pictured here. It’s a 44 mm winder with a Seagull 17 Jewel movement made by Parnis.

Nice!

Parnis seems to have a good reputation. Their homage watches are supposed to be pretty nice and reliable.

How has this watch held up?

So far so good. It’s not as accurate as a quartz watch, but it’s within 5 seconds a day. Build quality is superb.

Today is my Momentum M50 DSS with the 8 year battery life.

My Russian Single handed winder….

WOW, that is nice!

That is just gorgeous!! I’m not bothered about the fancy see through back but the face is just pure elegance.

Does it have lume? If so can you do a lume shot?

Thanks! I love this watch. It does have lume, but it’s not the best I’ve seen. I’ll try taking a picture tonight. I’ll use my Fenix TK75 to cheat a bit. lol!

Im thinking that 44mm Parnis is a homage to a IWC giant Pilot watch? It is a beauty in its simplicity!

Nice to see you posting atbglenn

Every time when I see these pics of Parnis watches, I think of two things - damn they look large for my small arm and -damn, I wish I had the crown of that size/shape to handwind my wathces
