Any review on this one? What kind of a battery does it use.

The item is new. So if the owner of Blitzwolf is not actually stocking or shipping them (yet), nobody has bought it (yet). The description says Li-Ion. I believe it does, since it is charges via (micro) USB. What I don’t like is the warning of keeping clear of water. Emergency to me is like “dark road in the rain”, in that case I want to have a waterproof light.

Too bad it isn’t waterproof like UY-Q7

It is the same as a Q6M sold on gearbest for ~$5. A great lamp and emergency light, it came with a 1200 mAh protected 18650 battery and I changed it for a 3,400 Panasonic. Now it lasts 10 hours on high. The whole body is made from aluminum and the LED strip is placed directly on it, gets warm but not hot. Produces a floody beam and I must say quite bright, about 200 lumens.

I think I posted Amps reading and pictures somewhere but I can’t find it… But highest mode I remember it was ~300mA, and it takes 750mA from the USB charger.

The only downside is the standby discharge is a bit high, I didn’t measure it but every few weeks I charge it and it takes ~200mAh from
The Usb source even though it hasn’t been used.

how did you change the battery?

Either end can be opened, it is held by 4 clips in the plastic piece.

The waterproof model however is permanently glued…

Great value for $6, but for almost $10 I would think twice before ordering it. In stock form the battery life is just poor, about 200lm for 3 hours.

You can change to whatever 18650 you like as long as it is protected, the stock driver doesn’t have low voltage protection and I don’t know how reliable the USB charging circuit is. Just desolder both leads and solder into the new battery. I also improved the thermal connection by using arctic alumina adhesive instead of the stock double side tape.
