eBay MH20 $22.99 - Discussion thread

Wow, they closed the case on April 4, 2016. How’d they do that … with a time machine?

Haha, yes…with a time machine, because in my country it’s already 18:31 hours of April the 4th, as of this posting.

Too fast to be true, I guess!

Well, looks like the auction is over. Another 50 sold. Probably all of them to members of BLF

Let’s see if eBay remove this listing like they did with the first one.

I think the buyer canceled the original listing, not eBay. Otherwise, the buyer’s account would have been suspended.

Not sure why the buyer did that, though.

If he made a mistake in pricing the original at $22.99, why bother upping the price to $25.99? Why not, say, $27.99 or 29.99?

Canceling the original listing for $3.00 of incremental profit doesn’t make sense to me.

Good thing they ran out because I’m dumb enough to roll the dice, since Paypal would back me up. :stuck_out_tongue:

Haven’t heard anything from the seller. The seller has gotten positive feedback as recently as 2/1.

Ditto.

Sent two messages to the seller. One yesterday. One today. No response.

I suppose there’s nothing to do now but wait and see if I missed a great deal or saved myself some frustration.

That’s my problem. I get frustrated when I miss out on a good deal.

I`ve ordered 4x Mh20 from the seller on Ebay yesterday. Now it`s time to wait what happens.

Last year this also happened close to CNY.

Convenient, huh.

Another ebay member - 5-44522 - had the same MH20 deal. I knew it was too good to be true. And I still bought one on January 22:D The same day listing was removed and member marked as “No longer a registered user”. It only took a couple of hours for Ebay to refund.

Edit: Just checked. The deal I tried was better. 19.99USD for MH20 + 3400mah battery + belt holster.

This things are just time wasters.

Somehow this seller “4.04638” is not selling anything anymore…

But since the seller marked my “Nitecore MH20” as shipped, I have to wait until the estimated shipping time is over to file a PayPal dispute, right?

I am not sure, the estimated date is a month away, maybe he really shipped a few dozen at that cost who knows

You never know, this ebay seller could very well be legit. Many GB’s have a 50% off deal, and the dealer is still making money. This ebay seller in China may have a connection with nitecore and purchasing these at rock bottom wholesale. Also, nitecore may be dumping, prepping for a new model. None of this would surprise me.

He actually has 2 active auctions. One is for an XTAR VC4 battery charger and the other a Sky-Ray flashlight. I’d say you all have a fair chance of getting your products. He’s already sold 246 of the Xtar chargers, plus he’s been selling on eBay for at least a year with 384 positive feedbacks against 1 negative in the past year. The negative could have been a faulty product.

Many of the people who are providing feed back have pretty significant feedback profiles themselves, which would be difficult to fake.

Personally, I’m just make sure that I’m in compliance with eBay/Paypal policies regarding filing claims within allowable time limits, then wait around for either good news or the time limit to expire.

Other than that, we can play the “what if” game until the cows come home and still not know one way or the other until either the time limit passes or items appear.

In any case, best of luck. Looks like it could work out to be a killer deal.
