OK, some smileys don't work. When you add a smiley, it adds symbols, but when you press "space", for example, to continue writing, something "hidden" is added before the smiley, so it doesn't work later :| Still unsolved since that update almost 1 year ago. Worked flawlessly before.

UPDATE: btw, all smileys should be added as word by defauld

Well, it certainly did nothing good for me since I can’t create a paragraph  I’ll do my part and write less but whatever I do write will be more annoying (than usual) I’m sure since paragraphs are particularly nice to have. The “confirmation box thing” is only annoying to me but having no paragraphs is annoying to everyone

Hmmm sorry about that... Firefox browser? Or IE? Something must be wrong with the configuration.

One thing that makes it go klablooey is when I use the "insert custom symbol." If I do this, "Foybezels™ " sometimes it forgets everything below the line with the custom symbol.

Not complaining, just letting you know if you already don't know. Lost the bottom 60% of my M8 review today and had to re-write it. Not that it matters anyway, nobody seems to care about that light.

It's all good, SB. Best forum on the web. Wish I owned one like it.

I have an older operating system so I can’t upgrade with the latest browser. I have Firefox but it’s not the latest version. It works everywhere else however.

Could you give more details please about OS and browser version? I might be able to tweak something.

Firefox 2,00.20 Windows ME

OK, thanks. And before this update it worked fairly well for you?

Yes. There was no problems with being able to post. Now I don’t even get a cursor unless I hit that link at the bottom that says “disable rich-text”. When I do that I can’t use paragraphs. The “confirm box” issue that I mentioned in another post occurred sometimes but not for every page I look at as it does now. I don’t get that or the posting problem on any other site. There are a few sites that has excessive Java based ads or scripts that sometimes cause a pop-up asking me if I want to stop the script but that’s only on a few large sites that have nothing but moving ads.

LOL  Too many ****fire brands out there

BTW, quite an old PC you have, mate :O

I would think (hope) the fix would be something pretty basic. This is a text editor we’re talking about  I get a cursor in the “Subject” box but can’t get one in the comment box. I tried an even older version of MS IE and that aspect worked but that browser is just too outdated for me to use in general. The fact that I don’t have this problem anywhere else nor do I have the “confirm” box after viewing every page anywhere else tells me that it should be a simple fix.

Happened to me too many times (with custom symbols and with smileys) since the "first" update (jan. - mar. 2011, I think) after I registered (oct. or nov. 2010, don't remember). Before that update everything was much better, at least for me.

Ok, I just installed another update today. Could you please test it again to see if any of the issues were resolved? Thanks a lot!

Not for me. When I first go to the “Comment” box I get a cursor and I can start to type but then the page finishes loading and the comment field goes blank and I have no cursor again unless I hit “disable rich-text” as before.

Hmm, sorry gcbryan. Could you click on the little question mark button in the post editor and tell me what version number you see please?

I don’t see or have a question mark button. I did clear the cache by the way. I also still get that “confirm” button after every page. I may come from Firefox but it’s (apparently) trigger by something on BLF since it doesn’t happen anywhere else. It would be great to figure out a way to turn it off.

Okay SB - I did the symbol thing and it didn't seem to do it but the post I tried it in didn't have a picture. I think it's somehow related. I'll try it again when I do the MPP II review.

Version 3.4.6 here.

Have tried again what I said in my previous post #22, and can't reproduce it at this moment (good thing)

Bad thing is that link button, "Table row prop." and everything else related to table doesn't working now!

For the first time, the table editor is working properly for me (Safari 5.1.1 Mac) - while it was mildly annoying in the past, it wasn't worth worrying about. With a table pasted from a spreadsheet(Excel 2011 - Mac), it would not let me select all the cells at once. It now does. Which is nice. Manual editing of HTML tables is not my favourite pastime.

The table editor buttons have only ever worked for me when table cells were selected. I tried creating a table - and it seems to behave as expected for me..
