Hey Matt, I just looked at your post history and you've done a lot of different tests since you joined them in Feb 2009. So I'm still surprised that you were treated that way.
Like you said, "they must really, really hate that WOW battery". 
Welcome aboard! Its good to see you here Matt. I have followed several of your threads on CPF, including the WOW 18650's. I have more of the TrustFire Protected 2400mAh 18650's than I can count, so I haven't tried the WOW's yet. Don't let all the hostile negativity on CPF get you down. Over there, I'm continuously amazed at how many flashaholics never let their lights outdoors and believe everything they read. I guess its all about how much money one can spend on a torch and view them as status symbols. All hail the whitewall hunters! I have NO shelf-queens.
Your inputs here will always be appreciated.

Thank you for archiving those pages Nil Einne - I have actually been trying to find that page for a while and wondered why the link was invalid on CPF.
The comments towards old4570 and especially the way the whole thread was removed was absolutley appalling.

The cells are not WOW branded cells as advertised. They are instead Hi-Max 18650 2600mAh PCB

That sucks! I ordered myself a few too due to decent reviews.
I be-leave they have been renamed , so just a new wrapper , If I could be guaranteed a Hi-max I would order one for testing ... I might email pingy to see ...
