G'Day SB, :)
I have not been aware of any line wrapping issues in the Advanced Editor, but I have just tested line wrapping in the Advanced Editor & it doesn't seem to be working. ;)
Btw, I insert "CR+LF" as & when I consider them desirable for readability.
Best Regards,
George

Because it looks like your previous posts with it have an awful lot of @
@ paragraph tags as though you were manually doing a typewriter carriage return when reaching the right border of the input area.

SB,
I just noticed that the viewing format (number of posts per page) is no longer user selectable. I used to select 300 posts per page to speed up text searches, when wading through long discussion threads.
Can you put the viewing format back in? O:-)
Unfortunately no, it looks like that feature was removed. Sorry about that!
@keengeorge Sorry, I just meant line wrapping between words, not long words without spaces.
I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing I am testing
SB, as per above test, line wrapping between words seems to be working as it should (but I haven't checked the generated code).
Thank you Very Much,
George

Post generated with Advanced Post Editor
Greetings & Salutations SB,
FYI, I just noticed that one af the ?problems seems to be that when press <quote>, then have to switch to the Advanced Editor & often what looked OK in the Simple Post Editor is now often mangled in the Advanced Editor.
Whereas in BLF's previous incarnation we could pre-select Advanced Post Editor for posting in threads (in Settings).
Best Regards,
George
Ahh, that makes sense keengeorge.

Yeah, I’m really sorry about that, it’s another one of the missing features in this new version. I would strongly suggest that everyone use the Simple Post Editor for almost everything except for complicated reviews or posts that need heavy formatting.

i don’t know how i missed this thread.
Being able to quote the OP is not on the list of this OP. No plans to fix it?

Unfortunately I already tried and couldn’t make it work. Sorry!
Why is it …
Whenever I click on a new discussion thread, it opens up on the second post and I have to scroll back up to see the OP. Am I doing something wrong (need to reconfigure my setup in some way)?
If not, is this problem fixable?
Mouseover images are supported anywhere that the Advanced Post Editor is supported. However, for now the mouseover code needs to be manually added to the posts using the Advanced Posts Editor "Source" button. The source code looks like this:
<a href="#" ><img src=" URL_IMG-1 " onmouseover="this.src=' URL_IMG-2 '" onmouseout="this.src='URL_IMG-1 '" /></a>
Old mouseovers contain a strange link.
And freshly made mouseovers don't work (for me.)

Hmm, I haven’t seen this yet. What browser and OS are you on?

Could you give me a few links for this issue? Thanks!

Earlier today my mouseover signature had a strange link, so I tried to fix it, and now the mouseover is gone.
I looked in this thread and found just one mouseover:

If I see any other mouseovers with strange links, I'll post a link in this thread. ;)
EDIT: I wouldn't be surprised if the strange links are only in mouseovers created in the last week.

The problem occurs for me in Chrome and Windows 7.
My other PC running Chrome and Windows 8.1 works fine.

I guess you could try to log out of BLF, delete all cookies related to budgetlightforum.com, and log back in again. Can’t hurt anyway.
Okay.
I’ll try later today.
BTW, can you check your PM? I had a question for you.
