Hi guys, I’m looking for a small 1x18650 power bank into which i can put my unprotected (and preferably protected) 18650s. It should have low voltage cutoff.
I know i can use chargers like the liitokala lii 100/xtar lineup for this purpose, but i want something that has a cover to hide/secure the battery.
2x18650: miller ML202 (new version)… I tested 83% efficiency with 2 cells at 1.5A output, see my mini review here:
I have tried many many others but only these two I would recommend. Both have low voltage cutoff.
You may also want to look at the Xiaomi 10,000mah power bank, with over 86% efficiency at 1.2A output and price is not much higher than buying empty power bank + battery
Thanks for the info. The c3 looks to be out of stock at gearbest, ill see if i can find it elsewhere.
Im aware of the xiaomi lineup, i just put in an order for the new 20000mah. Was looking for a super pocketable powerbank for emergencies, powered by my own batteries.
The flashlight head of the C3 is very nice too, it uses an Cree XPE and puts out about 200 lumens In a tight beam.
Do you have any miller ml-102? They’re really neat chargers. The latest version v9.0 has battery indicator and can be found very cheap at Gb. I use a double sided Velcro tape to secure the battery.
My Xiaomi 20,000 will arrive this week, then will do some testing for output capacity and efficiency.
I like the charging procedure, I like that I can mix and match. I like the quality. However you can not fit anything else but flat top unprotected cells in there!
