Isn’t that the way the forum previously behaved, pre-update? This is definitely the way I prefer it to operate.
The link doesn’t seem to work for me, even after changing the userid to my own.

It doesn’t seem to be enabled for regular users yet. I saw it immediately after the upgrade, but it seems to have been turned off at some point.

Sorry for the slowness during the past hour or so. I’ve been tweaking performance settings, which obviously didn’t work out too well.

Hi everyone, for a few hours today I’m going to temporarily disable the new user posts and thread search features, just so that I can gauge the impact that they are having on server load. Sorry for the inconvenience!

I believe it’s a glitch due to the other functions being temporarily disabled, but at any rate I also temporarily disabled the subscriptions system.
