LED Lenser P7

Well since I acquired a LED Lesner P17 off of here for a great price, I thought it was only fitting I should have a P7.  So I just bought one.

Light has already been shipped.  Sure beats Deal Xtreme or Manafont. It would take another 5 or 6 days for them.

Not trying to be an ass, but regulation is nonexistent. On the positive side it is well machined and finished, not ultra bright (as we are used budget segment often) and runs of 4xAAA batteries. A bit overdriven at first and dimming to the end.

It's a liekable zoomie but ill rather get a 18650 "generic" zoomie if the battery form factor isn't an issue and you dont mind a square shape at the tightest focus.

Well I just wanted one.  I got a lot of lights here that I know are gonna whip it.  But that isn't why I bought it in the first place.

Those have cool beams- was it  ? 27.50  - wow.

I thought of getting one of those and paying some LED wizard on here to mod it for a 18650- but better candidates for that, probably.

I wish they had some that run hot on 18650s, though.

If they used their Focus System with an XM-L at 3.2 amps - it would probably throw a  500 meters plus  and NOT an image of the emitter.

It was little less than $28.00.

The M7R takes a 18650, and has the digital programming, but it's considerably more expensive than the P7.

If it took 4AAs I'd buy two at that price Undecided  On my budget, AAAs are for lights where weight is paramount - headlamps and keychains.

Aside from that, great looking light, would love to see beamshots.
