GearBest Giveaway for the suggestions brainstorming for the Unique features of the flashlight( winner out)

For me a flashlight should have moonlight mode, tailstand, a good ui (two button prefered), instant access to turbo and a low battery warning/shutoff.

I would love to see a BLF Special Edition X-6 style light (big head for throw, small body for pocket carry), BUT in the even smaller single AA format!

4xAA flashlight with moonlight mode, hidden strobe (SOS) and got a red cone as accessory

Make a budget version of this with BLF driver and thick copper heatsink.

needs moonlight mode and a copper DTP
Neutral tint

Has anyone said “hidden or no strobe / sos / flashy modes” yet?
Meh, I’ll go with that.

And 1+ ToyKeeper’s Bistro firmware. On an attiny85. And must have a quality OTC capacitor.

I want a flashlight that changes color.

With successive button presses it will cycle through white, red, blue, green, red-blue alternating strobe.

It should also have a color change ramping mode where the color continually changes from one end of the spectrum to the other with the ability to stop at any color.

Any battery type would be ok, but preferably Lithium.

……And in the brainstorm category: The color-changing flashlight will have a bluetooth interface allowing smartphone control of all color features.

A flashlight that can use either AA or 18650 with very low moon mode and 1000+ lumens turbo mode.

DEDOMED!

A decent quality (reliable) inductive rechargeable flashlight.

Neutral tint and high CRI.

I would like to see a 1x18650, Nichia 219B triple in a host that is large enough so that the optics are not partially covered by the bezel. Something like an EagleEye X6 host would work.

I also like the idea of thermal management in a flashlight like this, otherwise, heat can be a problem. Bistro might be an option.

How about a built-in tripod?

High range 18650 flashlight with cree Xp-l-HI and a second TIR opctic for flood cree xp-g2 neutral.

Great idea!
+1

A new P60 style light. Not the same size or models - more the concept:

- interchangeable bodies and heads

- a “pill” concept that has better heat conduction than previously

  • different pills with different drivers, LEDs and features

moon mode
no more than 4 modes
coppper led pcb
thick wires
usb charging

Additional reflector or spacer if want to change it to triple led. Will be great if can make it customized triple alumunium reflector otherwise triple carclo is fine.
4AA with 4S exchangeable with li-ion, e.g. Lumintop SD10.
Moonlight mode, max 5 modes, hidden strobe or using ToyKeeper Attiny 25 driver (using good components, it don’t cost too much).
Screw in mcpcb to pill, make it flat and using thermal paste, don’t solder/glue it for easier to change led later.
Neutral white led
Good anodize, like BLF Eagle Eye X6.
Good enough tail switch.

What about a motorised zoom that’s controlled by just pressing a button and holding it down to change from throw to flood?

Having that and the infinitely variable brightness would make a great light.

A full carbon fibre light would be nice but expensive, a carbon fibre finish would also look fantastic.

A small 14500 light that takes a 17mm driver, the head should be no more than 22mm in diameter.

I might be wrong and tell me if I am but it looks to me that Gearbest are after innovative idea’s and something that would really make a flashlight better and different to the thousands that are already out there so it stands out from the crowd for whatever reason.

It would appeal to everyone looking for a light and maybe just not just us lot that look for specific improvements like a copper mcpcb, certain tints, firmware etc. :-x
