With successive button presses it will cycle through white, red, blue, green, red-blue alternating strobe.
It should also have a color change ramping mode where the color continually changes from one end of the spectrum to the other with the ability to stop at any color.
Any battery type would be ok, but preferably Lithium.

……And in the brainstorm category: The color-changing flashlight will have a bluetooth interface allowing smartphone control of all color features.
I would like to see a 1x18650, Nichia 219B triple in a host that is large enough so that the optics are not partially covered by the bezel. Something like an EagleEye X6 host would work.
I also like the idea of thermal management in a flashlight like this, otherwise, heat can be a problem. Bistro might be an option.
Additional reflector or spacer if want to change it to triple led. Will be great if can make it customized triple alumunium reflector otherwise triple carclo is fine.
4AA with 4S exchangeable with li-ion, e.g. Lumintop SD10.
Moonlight mode, max 5 modes, hidden strobe or using ToyKeeper Attiny 25 driver (using good components, it don’t cost too much).
Screw in mcpcb to pill, make it flat and using thermal paste, don’t solder/glue it for easier to change led later.
Neutral white led
Good anodize, like BLF Eagle Eye X6.
Good enough tail switch.
I might be wrong and tell me if I am but it looks to me that Gearbest are after innovative idea’s and something that would really make a flashlight better and different to the thousands that are already out there so it stands out from the crowd for whatever reason.
It would appeal to everyone looking for a light and maybe just not just us lot that look for specific improvements like a copper mcpcb, certain tints, firmware etc. :-x
1. E-cig mods have display screens for navigating settings. Why not flashlights? Put it under the rubber protector that covers the usb charging port if necessary. On my ecig mod I can scroll through power with a rocker button. Why not do variable intensity that way on a flashlight? With a screen display it would be easy to customize many features. E-cig mods do this and are still low cost.
2. Provide safety venting by having vents under the rubber button covers. If the battery starts to vent the covers are pushed aside by the escaping gas.
May be these things are already being done and I don’t know about them. I’m newly interested in flashlights because I vape so using and maintaining 18650’s. So why not have a light since I’ll always have a good battery at hand.
I desire a flashlight with a large central reflector and three smaller reflectors, so as to have both the thrower and both the flood.
Then I want a USB port to charge the battery and to program the functions.
The head shape may be triangular (as in the drawing I made, just to give an idea) or even round; but triangular, surely does not roll away.
I add with the head of the flashlight round, easier to produce
Personally, I see the value in having a light that runs on both lithium batteries and regular AA batteries. This helps appeal to more than just the lithium battery user.
So, multi chemistry support.
Also, a user interface which allows instant access to the highest and lowest modes from both off and while on in any mode would be great. One way to achieve this would be to use an electronic switch where a double click or a press and hold would take you to a particular mode.
Two head choices - one regular and one “turbo head” which is larger for more throw. (Like the Solarforce turbo head…)
Use high quality anodizing.
Like many have already said, good heat management.
Don’t use “budget LEDs”. Stick with LEDs like genuine CREE or Nichia.
When making a decision during design, don’t pick looks over function.
I think it’d be cool to have a flashlight with a built in USBASP programmer. You could just plug a usb cable into the flashlight and flash a new firmware to the driver without having to mess about with SOIC clips and whatnot.
