Wow! How cool is that. Thank you djburkes for this awesome giveaway. I am where you were at year ago, just getting started. I have learned a lot, gotten good advice, and have done a few simple led, and driver swaps. I’ve got a growing collection of parts in my drawer, and lights on my table 
I have been eyeballing the X6 for a while now, and just haven’t pulled the trigger. This one really sounds like a dandy. Looking forward to checking out Nichia leds. Heard so much about them.

I wanted to bring this back up. I have been wanting to get some pictures of the really great job djburkes, did on this X6. Unfortunately, my camera had an accident (unbeknownst to me). I’ve tried to salvage it, but is more trouble than the Qlite I have been troubleshooting.
djburkes was true to his word. I had it within a few days of the giveaway. I’ve had it apart, to analyze everything that was done, and have to say I’m impressed.
For someone (Me), that’s just got the bug on modifications to flashlights, this thing is huge. Mtn Fet, Triple Nicha on Noctigon, Ledil cute triple (I believe) optic, through hole bypassed tail spring, no idea where he got the spacer, but It’s just a delight. This thing will light up a football field, with absolutely beautiful light. I know this was not a Budget build. Top quality internals in a very nice host. I’ve had it for a couple of weeks, and have used it where this kind of light really shines, lol. It’s definitely my favorite.
I just want to say, I’m rather anal about anything I do. You Sir, did an absolutely beautiful job on this light. There is definitely a difference between a manufactured light vs custom. I hope to be there someday. Maybe by my 1st anniversary.
