This "other" forum seems to have always awesome prices on a high quality products. And we mostly are offered some crap budget lights ...or if they're more expensive (like Sunwayman V10A), a price with widely available coupons is still better than "group buy" price.
I'm wondering if Summer is that smart or you guys are a bit tempestuous when you hear "group buy". No offence everyone, I don't want to open a can of worms, but it seems that most of group buys here are nothing special, because we see similiar prices a short time later, that are possible to obtain with normal DD coupons.
Come on Summer. Offer a BC40 for 44$ (in neutral too :) ) or Fenix LD01 for 20$ ...or coloured Olight i3 for ~15$.
The reason i buy the UF-h3 because it's from the group buy, when i hear group buy and see a lot of people jump on the deal, i admit it is very tempestuous. I'll take more time to think about it next time. Live and learn i guess.
But it will be hard to pass on a quality lights. Premium lights me likey !!! :)
The only really good group buy was the UF-H2. Gotta bring something like that again. Before that GB I was not a DD customer. Now I am and I know I'm not alone. These latest group buys have not been special at all. I got a UF 2100 well after the group buy for the same price or better. The Fenix deal wasn't too bad either now that I think about it.
I missed out on the last DD Fenix E21 group buy deal, so I bought a used one from someone who ended up buying an extra Fenix and he sold it to me - for $32USD...
Now just a few days ago I bought 2 more Fenix E21 for 24CAD each with the 20% coupon...so the price was exactly the same as the group buy...maybe even cheaper and I just ordered it with no group deal.
So seriously the deals should be a bit more of a special if they see volume...
I think we'll have to aim for January for the US folks, just before Chinese New Year which is on 21st January. Just nice.
I'll ask Summer to take a look at this thread, and see if it's possible to get some of the lights. (I get nothing from this, in fact i didn't even get stuff from the last GB).
neutral white, premium brand, 2x18650 , or 26650, XML, above all good heat management.
Summer you know what brands you can get the best deals on. So pick out a flashlight thats high end and at a price that no one can resist. Do the "Buy" now so we can get the light before Xmas and yiou can get some of our xmas money. If you don't we'll spend elsewhere.

especially the SS version will be liked A lot for a nice price
If you like, start a thread in Commercial sellers with the text; EDC groupbuy Dinodirect ITP A3 $15 and SS for $20.. (or even lower ;) )
And see how many people are interested.. give it a few days..
most likely the number of people interested will exceed 30..
