Flashlight that come with potential upgrading features (different LEDs, additional heat sink, different driver diameter adapter, etc), and the manufacturer is selling the upgrading accessories. The stock Flashlight may be at the mid output level for people who does not want modification.

Maybe I’m missing the intent of the original give-away thread, but a holster is not the kind of break out function I think the OP was wanting. An included holster is not a flashlight function. It’s about the same thing as including batteries in the purchase package. I’m not sure why GearBest even included it in the voting and why it is ahead in the voting. BLF members, please at least vote for a real flashlight function. Heck, every pair of my pants has many flashlight holsters. They’re called pockets. This is just an easy way for GearBest to not actually have to design a new flashlight. I can add a holster to any flashlight I buy on my own. Just IMO.
Yeah, I posted my comments over there too…“Gearbest, did you not take anything else into consideration, except for the cheap way out on a crappy custom light? If you want to know what we want in a light…have a look at our recent BLF SE group buys.” Or maybe take a look in this thread as well. A holster isn’t going to do crap to make a light any better. Same Gearbest…different day.

Okay, this thread and the voting thread have long gone inactive. When is the drawing for the winner going to be done? GearBest, what say you put this thread to bed and make three winning members happy by randomly select the winner and announce the added holster as the selected function so two members who suggested it can PM you for their copy of it when produced.
