Anybody have this light and mod’ it??
I am looking for someone to increase the amps…It’s running xm-l2 T6 @ 2,5 amps. The light is very bright and throws the beam a long way. It has a very deep smo reflector. Fasttech sells them for $35.
I have one I will leave stock but am very interested in buying two more to have modified…

One of my favorite modding lights. R100 Resistor mod only after a Copper MCPCB XM-L2 U4 dedomed. Best running two cells ala one extension. No Copper with R100, stock aluminum MCPCB will float the emitter off the star. Don’t ask how I know.

Easiest mod is to direct swap a XHP50 on sinkpad. No need to change anything else, instant ~2000 lumens bump! The stock driver can drive 6V LEDs no problem and it will draw ~2.4A with 2x26650.
Mine is modded with an MT-G2 on 26mm maxtoch mcpcb, basically just a LED swap.
There you go mass lumens or mass throw. Buy them all! BTW my dedomed U4 Y3 with lathe or file work needed to tweek focus and out throws my Maxtoch BLF-TE.
