what about bridgelux Vero decor series, they have a 2700 and 3000 K CCT with 97 CRI also 5600 K CCT with 90 CRI, i bought them from Digikey for lighting my Aquarium why buy unknown brand while you can buy a well know brand and much much much cheaper
i got the Vero 18 Decor with 5600 K CCT with 90 CRI it is about 70 Watts for 16$ only
I have 4 of their warm white high CRI 5mm LEDs. I would love to buy more, but would never use 100 of them. Are any others interested in splitting an order?
Sampler pack of modules ?
You buy it ? What minimum quantity of each color temp ?
2 month ago I received answer ” minimum quantity =5 for constant voltage option “(with resistors) and ” minimum quantity =50 (!) for constant current option “.
Yuji does not make small high power leds (yet), just mid-power and COB leds. I think that making leds with a high illuminance requires special skills that not every manufacturer has.
Amazingly, I can find the 6000K 90 CRI, even the 6500K 90 CRI. But with a MOQ of 1000 @ .70-80¢ each, non-stocked but available with an 8 week factory lead time.
I need to order some of the 5700K just to satisfy my curiosity lol!
How in the heck do you search arrow? I can not figure out how to narrow the search to any of the Cree LED’s that we are interested in here. They have free shipping this month apparently and I would like to grab a few high CRI LED’s in the ~4000k range.
They are one of the hardest to figure out search/inventory systems I have seen.
I usually start with a partial series part number, especially on mobile. That will usually hit all variants they have. Try XPGDWT for example, that will show all XP-G3s. On desktop, you could click a sub-category or “filter”. IDK why, but the “filter” selection sucks on mobile. On a regular browser it usually gives you more filters like high CRI or Kelvin, but not on mobile.
The filters are where it’s at, Arrow, Mouser, DigiKey, et. al.
Yeah, I finally figured out that searching the part number narrowed it down but sadly the filters do not seem to work worth a flip. Heck they don’t even offer filters for most of the things that would normally narrow down what you want (CRI, bin, tint ect).
After a bunch of part number searching, I found the one 90 CRI you posted then 2 80 CRI leds in the 3000k range. Since they have free shipping right now I ordered one of each and an XP-L with 90 CRI just to see what they look like.
Thanks for reporting.
I have no insight in what Yuji really wants and is able to, but as I understand it is foremost a company that makes phosfors that has got into making leds as well. Therefore I would not be surprised if they do not manage to obtain the efficiency that the big led manufacturers are getting, and that they also lack the technology to get the heat management of their leds at a level that is needed to make high power single die leds.
