Low-cost copper pills, spacers, optics, drop-ins (Updated 23/10/2022))

Just joking! Really!
It’s just fun to talk to a guy living practically next door via a forum located on another continent in foreign language!

At least for me it’s funny

But nothing to complain about your product or services! OK?

Just got my X6 spacer. It fits great, I’m just going to polish it a bit and then install. Thanks for making these and for the quick shipping!

I ordered some S2 copper spacers from your eBay site.
I’ll take some aluminum X6 spacers when you start making them.

Can the BLF X5 Carclo quad copper spacer be used to make a triple? What size MCPCB would be needed for the triple, or quad?

20mm quad mcpcb will fit. Quad 24mm Copper TPAD DTP
Triple won`t looks good (to small optics size in such head), but triple and quad optics are same height so triple convertion can be also maken.

I’d like 2 x5 and one x6 if they’re still available.

Will you sell the X5/X6 spacers on ebay too?

Not sure. X6 more yes than no, X5 much more no than yes.
X6 is available for sale as host at many sites, I have some cute-3 optics, spacer is sufficient cheap. The only problem is XP32 mcpcb that need to be sanded in diameter. So both variants (spacer and set) may be sold on ebay.
X5 light is still rare, it doesn`t sold as host, complete lights are to expensive, we still don`t have quad pcb, copper spacer with second part (tube) would be more expensive.

Just got my spacers. Sent same day is I ordered, received 9 days later (Sweden). That’s rather fast, thanks.
I did a test mount and the “#3 Copper spacer for Carclo triple Convoy S2+/S3” works nicely in the pill-less S3.

I’m interested too in X5 quad…

Will you produce it ?

i have mine now (i was away a week)

nice done, but needs some finishing (for me;))

and i found a dent which have to be grinded away….

i also have not put it in the lightnow to see how it fits

nice to know now…

not sure if i like that.
btw
the dent affects the upper edge - so its not flat any more.

i will post pictures when the work is in progress

As I remember, I have sent you the first one that was on photo. If both flat surfaces look frosted, this means that I have tried to polish them. There can be some defects that are lower that main plane, but I don`t think that there can be defects that are out from plane.

Neverless, if you will measure that temperature difference between pcb and spacer (soldered together) with spacer “as is” is several degrees higher than with ideal polished spacer, I will refund you $1 for each degree Celsius.

Do you have any of those copper X6 spacers left?
I don’t worry too much about perfect as I sand and lap all my spacers and MCPCBs anyway.
Ive got four more X6 in the mail so I’d like four or more aluminum X6 spacers as soon as possible.

No copper left, aluminium will be available in two weeks.
What height do you prefer?

Hmm. I haven’t measure the ones I have, but tall enough that the glass lens wouldn’t be required with Ledil triple and quad cute optics.

Ok, you need 10.6mm height if you are going to use tir without stock glass.

Afraid I’ve not received my X6 spacer. Ordered 7th March.

Tracking seems to have stopped on the 14th March.

Appreciated.

Although there was no need to do it straight away. Just wondering if anyone had experienced the same sort of shipping times?

If the spacer turns up, I’ll let you know and resend the money to you. I don’t expect to get things for nothing.
