Gearbest

No.

By comparison 11 orders with Fasttech since August 2015:

  • 10 fulfilled with no problems, average time from order to delivery = 35.1 calendar days. (Longest 57 calendar days, shortest 16 calendar days.)
  • 1 missing order. Claim submitted = 53 calendar days. Refunded = 66 calendar days from order date.

Pretty similiar experience. :cowboy_hat_face:

If you want faster times, you’ll have to pay for it. Either choose a faster shipping option or order state-side.

When ordering from Gearbest, I always upgrade the shipping and add insurance. It equals out to be an average of $2.00. With the exception of batteries, the shipping time is less than 2wks to NY state. Batteries 30-45 days.

The OP ordered on 13th February, isn”t that in the Chinese New Year shut down, wasn”t their New Years day February 8th ?
That is at least 1-2 weeks of nothing happening in my experience & one store I dealt with was shut for a month.
Then there is probably a backlog of orders to deal with because of the shut down.
I have learnt from this years CNY that next year I will order at least 2-3 weeks before CNY to give orders a chance to be processed & shipped before the shut down & not order again until at least a fortnight after CNY.
I am not saying that the OP”s order has not been lost nor making excuses but given the above & the probably normal 3-5 week delivery time we are at about 8 weeks now which may not be that unreasonable given the date the order was placed ?

for some of this to be helpful ….
you might want to answer the question raised above …
Where are you located ?
what did you order ?

if it’s batteries thats one thing

if it’s a knife than that also may explain things .

maybe Gearbest just doesn’t like you

Yeh, I asked where OP was located. Jut give the country/continent? if you’re with the witness protection program or sumpin’… :stuck_out_tongue:

no
IMHO, order and forget, the price one pays for the very low prices one pays (man like this scentence a lot) is that it is taking long.
After a month it is time to ask how things are going. ]
Reaction “please wait some more time”
Waiting two weeks
Another times, asking what is going on?
Reaction “please wait some more time

So you see the actual getting refund stage with shops losing oney when refunding starts at least 6 to 8 weeks after buying.
(I prefer AliExpress because I will be reminded that I have to take action if things are not in in time and when the sellers do not extend protection time or do not respond, with 5 clicks a refund will be given about a week later, but AE does not lose money refunding you, it does not matter when they transfer the funds to, seller of buyer.)
And still, the prices of Gearbest are so good, I order there, and as I said, it might take long, they resolved all my issues, And believe me at a certain time I had only orders with issues, and well more then a few dollars on the line. It all came back, either in the form of nice products or refunds
I mean a 9.5cm bladed high quality Ganzo folder for $12, a wooden handled Enlan EL01 for less then $14, ridiculous quality and usefulness for such a low price
A noraml light blocking but UV pass-through lens for $1.22, where others ask $5 or more, come on I happy take a spin on the wheel there!
A 365UV Convoy S2+ Nichia for $18 where Simon asks $35 and Banggood charges $25. yeah I am waiting on it but gladly.
Just buy local if you want fast or big.

Once I received order from DinoDirect after 4 months, so…

Enlan EL01! Nice…

Order from DX… 145 days.
My first order from BG… better not talk.

I just placed an order for the klarus g30 and some HG2’s (4pc)… I’ve place a few other orders and so far one showed up, the other is on the way in cincinati, but I ordered 2x 348 Nichia NVSW219BT - V1 240Lm Mini 10440 / AAA LED Torch on march 31st and till now it says that it is still processing… I submit a ticket and they told me that item is out of stock, which makes no sense because i bought when i heard about the group buy here so it was in stock and still in stock weeks after… Still no response after that. I’m just worried now because this latest shipment is $70 worth… I don’t want to lose it and get ripped off. :frowning:

1dash1 is as close as you can come to a representative for GearBest/Everbuying without actually being on the payroll, so take what’s said in light of that.
I’m not casting aspersions at 1dash1, just stating fact for the record.
1dash1 has sought to assist me in the past with issues with them as well.

As for EB/GB they have an AVOID rating for a reason.
I am unable to state anything nice about them.

Hey! Maybe I ought to get paid for doing such PR work for them! :smiling_imp:

Not. :innocent:

I just think that people should go in with their eyes wide open and that expecting first class service at cut rate prices is not very realistic. I keep track of my purchases so I know where I stand with all the vendors that I deal with. That gives me an objective basis for rendering my subjective opinion.

And perhaps I have been extremely lucky (or others have been very unfortunate) in dealing with overseas vendors.

I have been extremely lucky in dealing with GB… for now.

Me too,and many people here accused me that I am defending GB, but honestly for 40+ orders I have only 1 refunded after 60 days and it was 9$ Ultrafire flashlight without tracking. Most irritating for me was processing time, sometime 10+ days, but lately all my orders are shipped next day.
At the moment I have 150$ smartphone order at Banggood, they hold my money for 21 days because of stock problem !
So what should I do, came here and write don’t buy at BG. NO I won’t do that since my experience with BG is also great so far…
GearBest will remain a gamechanger for me, and wish you all my luck…

Today within 24 hours an issue of me was fixed by CS
It was kind of funny, an hour later Gearbests rep here on BLF pmmed back she would look into it, besides not needed anymore it felt very good to know they respond to PMS here.
The one thing that is really important to understand is that it just takes a lot of time
Again want something at a specific time just buy local.

Edit: if you want to be sure of fast refunds in case of missing items, or refunds in case of wrong faulty items, AND pay less go for AliExpress, my second thread here on BLF was about them.

Gosh you guys are so lucky, I’am still waiting for my UltraFire 1226 since August of 2015! Just gave gearbest another try a few days ago and the paypal transaction appears in paypals website but does not appear in my gearbest order list! I hope they reply to my ticket and give me an immediate refund. I never had any problems with FT,BG,KD,AE,IO,DX or ME it has only happened with GB!

i just recently started ordering from china, and this is my third order from GB, and GB is so far my only chine place to order from as of yet.

third order… third time product was in my hands here in the USA just inside of 2 weeks from the time i clicked the mouse. Heck, tracking even worked this time.

50 percent off for the flash sale thing? off of already low china prices to begin with? 2 weeks sipping is now routine so far?

heck… i cant complain.

You are very ucky indeed, so fast is a rarety!

Anybody noticed that they have started charging compulsary tracking on cells ?
I just ordered 4 x Panasonic NCR18650B”s at $13.29 & had to pay for compulsary tracking at $1.99 or 15%.
Still a very cheap deal but I have never had to pay for tracking before ?

I ordered two 18650Bs from GearBest two months ago (February 15) and still haven’t received them. Just contacted customer service to get a refund. Hope you have better luck.
