We are always trying our best to give the best product and service, thanks for your supprot.

Thanks Summer.. Im waiting for mine to arrive, any time soon!

If you truly cared about customer support, then somebody should have been watching out for all those unprotected batteries getting stuffed into evelopes and shipping out to customers on all those orders. Somebody needs to spend more time training and taking care of quality control at DD.

You lost my confidence in my first and last order to your company. I disregarded all the negatives I heard here about your company. I now understand why people feel the way they do. You and your workers are your worst enemy.

Now some may say you made right on all this, but when I place a first time order from anyone and they screw it up, I'll be damn if I'm going to be a repeat customer. Now that's giving you my personal feedback if you want it or not is totally up to you on what I think about DD.

Out of all the products they sell, do you really think that the staff that they employ would to be able to recognise the difference between a protected and non-protected lithium cell?

I would say that it would be like having your walmart/warehouse/ikea staff to know if they have sold you a 3/8 inch phillips screw or a 10mm phillips screw.

Give them a break. So far I have two sets of unprotected, but I am giving them a chance to sort it out before I lash out.

Todate I have seen a company, while not perfect, certainly try hard to sort things out with people. Each person can make their own minds up, but mistakes happen and the key thing in life is what people do once a mistake happens that counts.

Thank you Summer and DD for trying to sort this for us and for the cheap products you have on special as well as the efforts you go to for the group buys. I personally hope that you continue to go to that effort for the people of this forum.

II'z

im happy with my first order from them. they ended up refunding me more than i actually spent on them within 5 mins of talking to CS on live chat. yes it may be a gift card, but they have some pretty good deals there too. so now i get a 502b w/xml for $2 and some change, and keep the batteries that work fine, although unprotected.

yes its a pretty big mistake to let that many batteries go out wrong like that, but they are LOOSING MONEY to make it right. they cant be making much off $6.71 for a set of 18650s, and there aint no way in hell they are making anything by giving a gift card for more than that in refund

give them a chance, dont act like an ass, and they will make it right

Like I said I stated my thoughts and so can you. But customer feedback isn't good on DD on here. And now I know why. Say what you wish, but a bad reputation is hard to change.

Well, if that's the case, Manafont still hasn't gotten back to me regarding the fried Fry Ray 3800. That's a 8X bigger mistake and that's like 5 months ago.

Afterall, all these people can't be wrong. This thread is self explanatory to me now.

Then don't give them anymore of your business. That's what I'd do.

Nobody is acting like an ass. I stated my thoughts as you stated yours. Dino Direct is just not liked by most on here. Read that thread above. It was started by the main man here. Not by me. Now does that make him an ass? Not hardly. The truth shall set you free. And that is what that thread did and why it was started to begin with.

lol...

I'll bet Dino Direct isn't laughing at that one.

Thank you for posting your views.

Wow is all I can say.

Dude, there are plenty more important things in life to blow a fufu valve over than this!

I have read your views numerous times on many threads and it still has not changed my opinion. Bad news travels fast, good or indifferent news not quite so well.

I am unsure how many times I need to reiterate my views, particularly if someone notes that theirs is different to mine? Any suggestions?

Well again you go ahead and keep ordering from them. That is your right. I'll order from folks who will get it right the first time.

You'll notice the "main man" has started all of ...or nearly all of the threads in .

Budget Dealer Experiences...

If these batteries weren't such a good deal there would be 4 people here complaining not a 100.dino direct is right there taking care of business and getting problems taken care of immediately is OK in my book .

I originally campaigned for the Avoid status ...and now I've asked Mr. Admin to take it down a notch .

Dino Direct has my support and has my business As far as vendors go they are the best around right now.Good deals ,fast shipping and taking care of problems .Thanks Summer .

Lets see you guys fix a few descriptions..kill some fake reviews and delete the photos of BRTEDS back yard and you'll go from avoid to recommend .

Well, my previous batteries were both wrong, too bad.

They both were covered by a reasonable cash-back, so I regard this more like a mistake than a fraud.

Of course, getting wrong, unprotected batteries makes me a small hassle since I´m giving these away or ordering these to my friends, who don´t have paypal/CC.

But hey, going on low budget, some extra work or trouble usually occurs. I´m dealing with it.

ILIKEFLASHLIGHTS, I understand that you are unhappy with your first order going "not-so-well".

I'd like to share my own experiences with DD: After 20 orders in last 4 months, anything from batteries to wireless IPCam. I'm still a happy camper.

Yes, I did receive 7 pairs of unprotected TF Flames, but Otta / Summer handled the situation really well. Now I have protected ones coming as replacements for all 7 pairs.

Pros:
- Lately the have had really good offers
- Group buys of good quality items
- Relatively fast delivery
- CS has been really helpful (in the unproteced batteries case)
- We have Summer here at BLF to help us
- No problems with payment / web page functionality

Cons:
- You must be careful not to pay extra for registered shipping etc. (quite "normal" - buyer beware)
- Hugely inflated prices (you need to know what you are buying and what the correct price level is)
- Inaccurate product descriptions (see above)
- Fake reviews (I don't trust them anyways - you can find real unbiased reviews from forums like this)

So, my conclusion is that DD is a good place to shop if you are a seasoned shopper and know what you want.

At least I will buy from them also in the future.

Yeah, that's a good point _the_, seriously with all the reviews giving you so much more information + measurements both here and CPF, it makes reviews on DX/DD/MF look like a kindergarten book. :D
