Astrolux S41 - presale ended

I’m in

Did someone say the magic word, Nichia? I’m in! Will the Astrolux S41 be 18350 only?

Are all 4 of the TIR lens the same? I have the Energizer Vision HD 2xAA and 3xAAA flashlights. Each has 3 TIR lens, but one of the TIR lens is designed to make the light coming out of it floody, while the other 2 are identical and are throwy. Seems clever and unique, but I haven’t encountered a real situation yet to test out the floody + throwy design.

And man, Astrolux keeps churning out really cool (erm, neutral) lights this year.

the battery tube and tailcap seem to be the same as used in the S1 - so if you have one you can Lego

-> btw S1 is on flash sale for 25 USD including both tuber (18350/650)

finally quad….sadly not xpl)) so is it powered by 18650 and 18350? looks with the copper between part very dirty….but i take.price?

Wow! Looks awesome!!! I’d be in for two of them. :sunglasses:

Quad emitter…nice! :smiling_imp:

Does it have copper DTP board?

Now i have no reason to build one lol! The parts will cost me the same!

IN for a quad Nichia

about dirt:
thats a prototype with used parts -no advertising pictures!

If it comes with an 18650 tube, I'm in for a quad XP-G2!

Looking good!

I’m in, a no-brainer, even as a host!

DTP copper board?
Lighted tail?
Also with alu pill-section?
Suitable clip that works with the wider head?
Is the optic a Carclo quad? Or at least compatible?

LOL, that blue S1 for comparison has its head and tail not fully screwed down to make it appear longer

i take for sure.yes,no need to build it…we have it.and run for xpl in a seconds:)) i hope,it will complete black. so 18650/18350??

I’ll volunteer to receive a test sample, even a dirty prototype :stuck_out_tongue:

NO it will be me!!!)))ň

I’m liking this!

35USD with copper head?
I wondered how copper X5 is cheap, this looks much prettier.
Even with short tube it will have same cell capacity as X5, but smaller in all directions.

This will sell very well. I hope we have an option for 18650 tubes as well without having to get a new s1.

interesting
they should have done clear ano on the non copper parts to make it look even better.
