There was a report about some measurements/ observations in the TLF from member light-wolff about the CoYoo quantum Ti;
I believe all of this lights behave the same
In summary:
On Low there is under 2,2V less then 1µA and under 2,0V current stops totally (< 0,1µA); Then the battery remains on 2,0V; That may be not so good for the battery life, but it´s not that dangerous;
On High there is a bit more current: 130µA on 2V, 65µA on 1,0V. That means that could exhaustive discharge the battery. But that should be a matter of days, not hours;
I´ve had one of these batteries which died, not in the light, I carried it in an battery container, I don´t know why this battery died but that´s not that loss;
You can get a replacement on GearBest for under 2$
There is no code. The first 100 preorders were 15.99$, second 100 were 17.99$, …
Unfortunately, you’re a bit late. But it’s still not a bad price if you want one of these.
I was lucky to get in on the presale at 15.99 each. I bought 1 of each.
They are already shipped. I now wish I had ordered a couple each at that price.
I am in love with all the little 10180 lights.
Between all the choices in material (Aluminium, Stainless, Titanium, Copper, Brass, etc)
for the CooYoo line, the DQG line, the Jetbeam Mini-1 line, Blackwater Kite line
and all the other ones I can’t get enough.
I don’t have any of the CUSTOM 10180 lights yet as those are much more pricey than these latest versions.
